I have a love/hate way of looking at V4L. I love that they offer a nice little 2 piece that even a dummy can use without too much trouble. I hate their shipping and overall prices. I also hate that they have or had a connection issue. When I was still using some of their cartos, I would have to pry the connector up on the battery and/or cartomizer to get a connection. New users may not know to fiddle with the connector to get it to work. I never recommend them anymore for that reason. You can get almost the same products cheaper elsewhere. I finally gave all of my 808 stuff away, but I had to explain to the new user all of the issues and where to buy stuff cheaper. I want to love them but it's not happening.

I order from V4L quite regularly. I have had no problem with their batts or cartos. In fact I just ordered a bunch to take on vacation. I hate filling when I'm on the go.I just want something quick and easy akin to lighting an analog.I did buy a reo last week hoping between the 2 refilling will be minimal.I've only had one incident where they sent the wrong ml carto and they promptly sent the correct one not even asking for the others back.
I try to buy only during a sale because I do think their shipping is over the top.$6.95 for 2 boxes of carts and a batt is a little much.Other than that I have don't have a bad comment about them.I'm sorry that you had that experience and I do appreciate the heads up.

I have spent a good amount of money on vapor4life products and now here i am after spending 250.00 all the batteries but one is still working.

Vapor4Life is a good honest company, with great reputation.
If V4L will accept my order in the future, I will be happy to order from them.

I'm sorry to hear about your experiences with V4L pete and espresso. I've only ordered from them once, a pcc starter kit back in april but I was very pleased with their service. I ordered at 11pm and received completed/shipped emails by 9am the next morning, and the following day I had the package in my mailbox. Granted I live about an hour away from their location, but still, from order to my mailbox in less than 48 hours is good in my book.

The only semi-complaint I would make about the service was that one of the packs of cartos I ordered they were apparently out of, despite still showing it as in stock on the site when I received the kit. They did not mention this to me in the emails, but however wrote a note about it on my invoice and said they'd credit my store account. In its place they sent me a pack of a different flavor and 5 free cartos of random flavors. I haven't attempted to redeem that credit, so we'll see how that goes when it's time to reorder.

The kit was for my girl, so I haven't had a great deal of hands on experience with the gear. But 2 months in, both auto batteries and the pcc are still working fine as far as I know. I will say though that I didn't like most of their juices I tried, and wasn't impressed by the amount of vapor it put off. Nor is my girl I suppose, because she will still end up bumming cigs when we're out drinking, while I'm perfectly content with my eGo. She was never even as heavy of smoker as I was.

As for the shipping costs, yah... they jag those prices. Price jagging on shipping and "handling" is becoming increasingly annoying in this hobby, as I have found that most companies seem to do it.

To me, the V4L auto 808 w/ prefilled cartos seems good for new vapers who are just looking for something that works and don't want to be bothered with the fiddling that comes with attys and blank cartos. Just keep in mind you are sacrificing performance for ease of use.

Pete, if you're not happy with the company and their gear it's time to move onto a different supplier and different equipment. It sucks cutting losses, but in the end you'll probably be happier somewhere else. Pursue the rma if possible, then attempt to sell your cartos and gear to recoup some of your money.

As for espresso, after reading through the thread you linked, I'll agree with some of those posters that customs can be a ....., but over a month with no word what so ever on the package's existence seems odd. I personally wouldn't peg V4L for being dishonest, to me it seems you got repeatedly screwed by the mail system either in the States or in Taiwan. I would give it a little more time to see if the reshipped order comes through, perhaps even check with your customs and have V4L follow up on their end. If nothing comes out of this in the next few weeks I'd suggest you request a full refund from V4L, and if they refuse, then call your credit card company and demand a charge back for services that weren't rendered. You'll usually get your money back and the credit card company will fight with the seller for you. It's kind of a jerk move, but if push turns to shove, the bottom line is that you never received what you paid for.

Pamdane (sir or Ms.?, guessing Ms.) if you look at V4L's subforum you'll see far more praises of their cs and products than complaints... Every company has issues, some have more than others. Can only say in my 6+ months using V4L there have been none on my end. I use their batts everywhere but work, where I use the provari. My suggestion is to either call as Ms. Keyzy said, or contact Chad sir tomorrow when he's back from vacation....

Ricks sir will only say not all batts are created equal. While a lot of vendors carry kr808's, there are the generic versions, the new regulated kind (like bloog's and smokelessimage), and v4l's king diamond and stealth series lines. Not to mention their juice line has some real standouts. Yes they charge for shipping, no the batts are not lifetime guaranteed, but they have other strong points than that. And while they may charge for said shipping, they also have some of the fastest ship times out there (as in 20 minutes after an order is placed, it's on it's way). I'm in no way affliated with them, but they have earned my loyalty through their products and cs. I'm truly sorry Pete sir has had a rough time, that's why I hope he contacts Chad sir tomorrow so they can get the issues worked out.

Everyone has their opinion, so I guess I am going to throw my hat in with the rest of yall....

I've ordered a few juices from V4L. I've tried 3. 1 is exceptional in my opinion. 1 is meah *Shrugs*, and the other is downright nasty. Taste is subjective just as food is. I happen to really like asparagus, but many find it nasty. To each their own. I've seen tons of posts from people who complain their juice is too "perfume" like. I find that sometimes happens on lower resistance stuff or higher voltage stuff. At ~3.5 I found one juice from them to be quite good. Others think it is terrible. *shrugs*.

As for the ordering mix ups. I have had some issue with their ordering process. I ordered 3 flavors (which their web site said they had in stock), and ended up getting a credit for one of them after my order had already shipped. I would have liked an email saying "Hey, we didn't have x juice in stock. Would you like something different?" Instead I got a credit on my account with no explanation as to why it was given to me. So in order to get the credit, I had to place a new order and pay shipping again (grrr)... That rubbed me the wrong way a little bit, but hey *shrugs* it happens sometimes when people are overworked or trying to get orders out the door. If I had been a regular customer who had had multiple such mishaps, I probably would have been a little more upset than I was. I don't fault customers of theirs for being upset over such things especially if it occurred multiple times.

As for equipment, I have never purchased from them myself, but there are some that think they are terrible and others that think they are the best thing ever. I've seen people post problems with batteries from every vendor. I happen to LOVE cignot's service and quality product, but I did get a battery from them that died. It was replaced with literally no questions asked (even though I really did expect "you messed up the battery on your own dummy" response. Vicki at Cignot is an EXCELLENT vendor, and a real credit to the vapeing supplier community!). Millage will vary on almost everything you buy.

If you really have had that bad of an experience with V4L, then I would wholeheartedly encourage you to go and ask for help on their forum or call them directly. Most people who post in their forum get assistance quickly and are happily taken care of.

Thanks for the advice, glad I don't have to resort to credit card company. Thanks
This event, was in no way V4L's fault.

I still don't get it. People automatically blame it on custom, when there are a lot of other possibilities. I don't like custom, but I believe they should not take the blame this time.

this is what happened:

A parcel from Vapor 4 Life arrived today July 6th 2011,
on the bag it showed: mail date June 27 2011.

I believe this is the reship.

for detail, please refer to the last page of http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/vapor4life/196320-panic.html

.....

And then, the day after the reship arrive, that package, which USPS Tracking system returned with "No Record", arrived.
On the pakage, it showed mail date June 3rd 2011.

Whoever is responsible for this delay, it certainly is NOT Vapor4Life.
V4L did their part, took the blame when it's completely not their fault.

What I know is, V4L sent the package on June 3rd.
Custom did not bother to check this package.
This package ended up with a big delay, (delivered after the reship arrived)
and not only Vapor4Life took a big hit on this, they reship when original was no-show.

Vapor4Life is a good honest company, with great reputation.
If V4L will accept my order in the future, I will be happy to order from them.

i started the electronic cig journey a few months back. here is the first post that i started here.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...any-info-helps-have-been-reading-6-weeks.html

I have spent a good amount of money on vapor4life products and now here i am after spending 250.00 all the batteries but one is still working. the sad thing is, i researched everything and followed all the things required to a T. problems is all the batteries from them that i recieved go out for no reason. i offically hate that company because just like i thought, when i contacted them about the problems with my rma batteries and the ones i had working, i got sorry your 30 day warranty is up and there is nothing that they can do. i recieved garbage on my initial order with them and recieved garbage on a rms claim for 3 batteries. funny thing is i didnt use them that much or even abuse them at all. one day the batteries stopped working after a charge (led blinking). the auto and manual batteries just took a dump. now i only have 1 manual battery that still works. the 250.00 dollars i spent and the company just poops on me.

THEIR SORRY PRODUCTS ONLY WORK A FEW HOURS, AND JUST LAST LONG ENOUGH TO PASS THE 30 DAY WARRANTY! I HOPE THEY ROT IN HELL BC THEY JUST RIPPED ME OUT OF MY HARD EARNED MONEY ON JUNK PRODUCTS!

everyone here should know this info, hope this comes up on a google search. i guess you get that you pay for, cheap garbage from a company (vapor4life) that you think that you are getting a good quality product at a price that you can afford.

 228, Your original post/thread that you linked to stated you had spent 200. on vaping gear from more than one vendor including v4L and lite cig usa, with the first purchase being on ebay? (as of 6/6/11) Ebay doesn't sell e-cigs, but okay.

Your OP on this thread makes it sound like you spent 250. on v4L batteries. I don't really think so. The sad thing is a few weeks is not such a long time to research or to be comfortable making the full switch from analogs. This is a journey you have only begun.

"One day the batteries stopped working after a charge?" All of them at once? Seriously?

What really irks me is in red. I am not a religious person, but that is really not necessary, 'kay?

Sounds like you didn't listen to dormouse. (sorry, had to add a little levity here)
With your manual working, could it be some juice leaked into the batt frying your autos?

I appreciate the levity! No one ever thinks they let juice get in their batteries, the same as no one ever thinks they are a bad driver.
