But yes, the iMist is a pretty impressive device all around. I'm quite pleased with it and genuinely like it better than standard eGos.

Yeah, I watched his review. He probably didn't use a thin juice -- not that I can blame him. I don't like thinning my juices either but so far, no eGo-style tank system I've ever used is happy with juices with more than maybe 20% VG. I reviewed it based on what it's capable of handling, and with thinner juices it works very well, has a great fit and finish, and the rather nice feature of that accessible coil. A bit pricey, sure, but it's a higher quality device all around than most eGo-type clones, so I stand by my opinion of the product.

Very good review ! I have one of these for almost 1 month and i'm loving it ! The only thing is that i vape 100% vg and it works very nice (when i use it, i keep it in the vertical position, with the cartridge up, most of the time).
But i have one question witch is very important to me : the colour of the atomizer (gun black), matches perfectly with the colour of the battery ?! Because my battery is a dark shinny black and the atomizer has a brownish tendency (i guess gun black), and in the right light they don't match perfectly. I got them separately (my bad), but i would like to purchase one set in the gun black colour, and if the set also doesn't match colour i won't bother.
Anyway, this is my favourite atomizer so far.

It's possible that there were issues in the pain job with the atomizer you bought. Both my atomizer and carto are shiny gunmetal black but I can certainly imagine that if the paint job were to start wearing down it would take on a lighter, possibly brownish hue. So my guess is that you probably got a batch from the factory that had a problem with the paint job -- either that or maybe they're offering a smoky chrome colour that you got instead, because that's what the atty looks like in the pictre you posted. They're supposed to match though.
That second picture does look better. There is a kind of iridescence to the electroplating on the gunmetal version that does kind of change colour slightly under the right lighting conditions. Perhaps the electroplating process on your atomizer might have been left in too long or not long enough resulting in a more significant change in certain light.
