Wow! Thanks! That would be so cool! If you have anything you need ro ask me if they need to know details pm me :)

My boyfriend thinks that it is a combination of him in the process of growing (he is awkward right now, because he is growing. He looks unproportionate, his legs are really long, his body is long, and his breasts are big.) and the chickens attacking him. He thinks the duck is just bruised up......and I hope he is right.

Chickens can be buttholes sometimes! Lol chickens have what many call a Pecking Order. The Pecking Order consists of at the very top: The Boss hen- she is the boss, she is allowed to peck every chicken in the flock and she gets first dibs on everything, and no other chicken can peck her, and then it goes down the line all the way to the lowest chicken of the pecking order, and every chicken can peck her and she gets to peck nobody.
I have had ducks with chickens and they normally do not bother the ducks this much. last year I had 2 ducks and 1 disappeared, the one duck that did not disappear started flocking with the chickens! It was funny! I really think she thought she was a chicken lol she was my favorite duck :)

I love birds! I had a cocketeil named Tweety, and he was so funny...and grumpy! He was mistreated before I got him. I got him before I was in the 6th grade and had him until I was 25. He died last year on April 4. He was already 2 or 4 when I got him. So he was 17 or 19 when he died. I still miss him sometimes. He loved whistling the andy Griffith song...lol He knew it before I got him. He used to stare in his mirror say pretty over and over to himself and say pretty bird a lot too. He also whistled you are my sunshine.

Well the imbalance thing is what worried me the most. It sounds like if there was a virus or something, he wouldn't have lasted a week. Birds are prey animals and don't show illness until it's advanced. I think all flocking / pack animals have some sort of pecking order. Don't ducks imprint like geese? They think whoever they are around when they hatch is "mommy". I also raised aracaris (sm toucans) and they imprint. Talk about weird babies. They look like blue skinned lizards.

I wasn't happy with my friends answer;
I'm treating what sounds like the same thing with one of my chickens and mine is botulism poisoning. .. Doxy and tube feeding and she's looking a lot better after a week..

I wouldn't give doxy based on the above. Maybe it's different in ducks, idk. But if it was bacterial or viral, your duck would be crashing by now. I always had a min stash of basic antibiotics in a first aid kit for immediate treatment if needed. There aren't that many avian vets around.

Also, some illnesses such as Botulism, Pasteurella and poisoning can cause weakness and appear to be a leg problem.

I guess worms can also show up as lameness and eventually cause balance problems. I didn't know that, but they can be fatal from what I read. IMO about anything causing problems with balance is potentially serious. I also read reports of a new duck virus in the Carolinas and I don't know where you are. The last link let's you fill out a form and they will make a best guess at dxing. I don't know how accurate they are though.

I have an interest in getting into some chickens/quail/etc. so I wasted w-a-y too much time digging through those forums, checking out coops, chicken training, diapers ...? Yup. LOL!

Wow! Thanks..., that was great information, expecially the website! I live in West Virginia. My duck has been clumsy for a few weeks, expecially during his wing growth. His clumsiness was not anything to worry about because the female was clumsy when were wings started developing too. The female developed way faster than he did. Then the week before last he started tripping, and after I had caught one of the chickens jump him he then started falling down and walking wobbly. He eats, drinks, plays, and baths completely normal. I wonder if it is because his legs are so long....he acts like if someone would put 6ft wood posts on the bottom of your feet and make you walk. I just do not think that he is sick, because I would think like you said he would have already crashed and he would not eat or drink or play. My ducks have had their vaccinations also. My boyfriend keeps telling me he thinks he will grow out of his clumsiness and grow into his legs. I really hope he does. Although, I think I will check into the worms thing. I have not seen anything in his droppings, but they may not show I dunno.
Ducks are impressionable too! When I first put them outside they followed me everywhere....they still follow me....lol They are funny!
I love having chickens! They are actually believe it or not easy to care for. I love animals so easy to me :) I guess there is work involved. The hardest part is to keep them safe from predators if they free roam like mine do, and keeping their coup clean (which really is not too hard just not very fun lol). They are really funny to watch and just adorable sometimes and expecially when they are little. Ducks are cute and funny too.....messiest things when they are little.....they do not drink their water they instead bath and splash in it! Lol

SJ, you can also use the older dual coils used for the Protank3/PT3 Mini/Aerotank/Evod 2/Evod Glass (and vice versa). I've heard that the new Kanger dual coil heads are difficult to rebuild or re-wick.

How do you like the aero mini?

Its definitely an upgrade from ce4s and evods, I'm just trying to figure out how i feel about it

When I first got my PT3, I had been using an MT3S and two disposable clearos. At first, that airy draw threw me for a loop, but after I had vaped on it for a while, I loved it. With the Aero flow control, I bet you will love your mini!
