A friend of mine bought a vaporesso Skrr tank this past Sunday, and he brought it to me this morning with an issue I've never seen before. The coil had snapped (not the first time I've seen this), but it snapped into the base of the tank and I cannot for the life of me get it out of the base. Any suggestions?

Any bit of the coil left to grab with a pair of pliers, Vice Grips perhaps? A picture if possible would help.
Hard to tell with that picture but looks like the user tried to get the remaining coil out themselves and butchered what was left. Hopefully they did not tighten the coil even more. Maybe a little penetrating oil on the threads and see if a pair of needle nose pliers spread and pressed against the inner walls could work.
I have had a lot of success with needle nose pressed on the interior of a, well whatever I couldn't open. I am going to say that is your best bet. I would try it without any sort of lube first, then try lubing it up if you have to.
I don't see enough "coil" to really grab onto with pliers.

Same problem here after a big drop...coil broke, tank was fine.
