In today's review, we are having a look at the vaporesso Swag Kit. The new Swag kit takes design influences from a couple of other companies in the mainstream market to come up with a very portable and lite little kit for out and about.

With a tightened up temp control, a single battery and out and about friendly mod, along with it coming with the newest revision of the NRG tank, the kit has a lot going for it, how does it perform? Lets find out.

As always with a vaping With Vic review, you know that I have tested this item for at least a week, instead of reviewing it the day after it comes in...this channel always tests items first before reviewing.

    In Scots we trust!

    Good review as usual.

I'm one of them mysterious demi-retrograde 22mm single-coil sub-40W MTL vapers who are into moderately cloudy skies only, but was interested in the compact and lightweight mod.

Although we are surrounded by too much plastic as it is, the material here looked quite nice and durable. Some mods suffer from a slight battery drain so any idea how this "Swag" thing compares?

There's a lot to like, but the few downsides seem to be:
    - the menu system is odd and simply changing current temp or power requires a multitude of presses, including the inconveniently placed wee rocker on the side.
    - the battery cap may be taller and wider than necessary. Instead of max 23mm it could accommodate 24-25mm atties if they could make it smaller. (shouldn't be too hard)

    Potential issues:
    - being so light, heavier atties make it top heavy. (non-issue)
    - screen visibility outdoors
    - software update policy is unknown (likely non-issue for us Leenux users anyway, heh)

One to keep an eye on though. The orange looks quite delicious.

That and the dispersed buttons / ackward side rocker. I do like the term ackward side rocker a lot though. :w00t:

Seems like both issues are quite fundamental to the design so there's little hope of a V2 with those issues fixed being released in six months. Moreover Vaporesso would appear to suffer from a case of ADHD and are more likely to just go for new wildly different design instead.

Whatever happened to those promising EUC "universal" coils that could also use adapters to fit practically any clearo in the market?

ANyway, maybe the Swag would work for someone with only type of tank and coils so there's little need to fiddle with the settings after initial setup. They aren't expensive and they say there's a festive solstice coming.
