You do know that pics are mandatory.
Your gonna love your saber.
What color did you get?
And welcome to the Saber family.
I got a super plain one this go around. Base model...brushed aluminum, no threads, stock squared caps and old style button.
I'm hoping to get a no-brainer 'work horse' PV. I opted for 'no finish' with easy sensor operation in mind. Going with the old style button gives a bit of protection around the edges to prevent mis-fires.
I plan to run it with a Kick most of the time (safety of a regulated pv...but easily bypassed when in the mood), but I might occasionally build some atties to go with a 5v NIMH setup (without the kick of course). I've been interested in trying some micro-coils with cotton (for budget reasons) so that might be in my future pretty soon. I understand this mod can handle up to 7amps easily right? I see no reason to mess with sub-ohm 3.7v stuff when I can just pop in a 5v battery or a pair of 350s and up the volts, yet this mod should still be able to handle either. Frankly...so far I find around 7 watts on a rewicked/coiled vivi-nova tank a tough 'daily vape' to beat (especially for the money)...that's probably how my Saber will spend most of it's time setup.
This go around, what drew me to this mod was:
1. The touch feature...something a bit different from my usual Darwin button callous
2. It's long enough for the Kick...but I don't have to mess with rings or moving parts to piddle with different batteries...just drop in spacers

I'm not sure exactly why, but I find this more appealing than the mods with a zillion little parts and screwy things for a workhorse mod.
3. IMPORTANT: It's US made in a small business setting ... I like that
Happy Birthday to me (in a few days...maybe my Saber will be here in time to sit in the center of the cake).
