I've never lived anywhere that I can recall that had all those crazy state owned beverage stores and the like. The whole concept boggles me. When I need booze, I goto ABC (Brand name) and buy what I want.

Well, at this point even local grocery stores have add on liquor stores.

I felt the same way about places that make you go to the liquor store to buy beer and wine. That always boggled my mind. It all depends on what you're used to. It still seems REALLY strange to me to see people trundling through the grocery store with a gallon of vodka in their cart next to the screaming kid. It'll become normal soon.

Grocery Outlet here in town is Great for all kinds of unusual beers and wines.

We have those stores up here. They have lots of Bud Lime and Michelob Ice and that's about it. :p You have better Grocery Outlets down there, it seems.

Down here the grocery stores that also sell liquor, the liquor is in a separate section. You don't have to exactly leave the grocery store and re-enter, but it's still separate. Still nice to be able to pick up everything for a party in one location.

Now I do miss the bottle stores in Germany. All the beer and cola needs. But beer is serious business in Germany, so its understandable. You can get beer at a grocery store sure, but better to buy at the big store.

Oh, we must be thinking differently of bottle shops. In the past, we had state run liquor stores, but they didn't have beer. Beer was only in grocery stores and whatnot. Bottle shops like BevMo, carry liquor but often have extensive selections of good beer. Much better than at the regular stores where most of the selection is taken up with BMC (BudMillerCoors) beers.

I don't care where I get it as long as I do...(Beer and liquor: This qualifying remark has been brought to you by MissXy...)

I thought I could be one of those people who'd only smoke when they drank. It worked for a while. Then I noticed that I was smoking myself into alcoholism. :p

LOL I started smoking before I started drinking, I was just a hopeless cause. Then I started drinking and got even more hopeless! hahahaha

Man, all caught up.. I missed out on a lot last night lol.

Not sure if it's worth replying to the old messages but, here's a couple in no particular order.

Wolf, exciting news! Those little DCT tanks looks pretty neat.

Red-Great looking setup with that tank. Didn't know those were so flush and lined up with the eGo so well. May have to check that out.

If cats had wings, I bet they’d still just lay there.
You know that's right! Lol

Well i would hate to get married at a closed bar...
Yeah, doesn't sound fun.. Candy is Dandy but liquor is quicker!

Windy- Hope your clearo problems work out. Sounds about right with the voltage maybe being too high.

Orange chicken, not bad.. I prefer General Tso's! Or a close second like Katie says, Bourbon chicken.

All this food pics.. Hmm, wonder if I should post up the spreads I do for BBQ!

Whole leg of lamb I did on the 4th, was soooo good. Slow cooked it for about 5 hours. Doing another one this Saturday.
