hi. Ages ago I bought an rdna 40, 2 ni200s, 2 subtanks, a few orings and some cotton off of eBay for about £45!

This was a while ago and the rdna lasted about 4 months and died. Im thinking it was so cheap, so fair enough.

Is a new vaporshark worth the money?

I have to have replaceable batteries and so I've seen the 133 and 166 versions (weird numbers)

I've seen the 166 here for £140/$172. Does anyone have one?
Would you recommend it or is it just too expensive.

The 133 is the dna 200 chip and the 166 is the DNA 250 chip but because its run in dual 18650 mode (as oppose to using lipo packs (or possibly 3 18650s)),the wattages are lower.

I have the vapourshark 166 and like it (as I do all my DNA mods but its 22mm so overhang on 25mm attys.

Did you spend that type of money on it?

I think the VS dnas look so good, possibly the only regulated mod that looks good.

Also, everything I use atm is 22, so overhang is never an issue.

I did, I think it was around 144ish off uk ecig store. Vapourshark and evolv are always good with their warranties though.

I love the look of of VS mods. On the VS I dont have to worry about poking the screen with my fingers like on the Therion.

I also own a lot of 22mm attys.

Ok, so how long ago was that, I don't know when it was released? It's still 140 on ukecigstore.
Would you pay it now?

Yeah, lots of ppl have a problem with the screen on the bottom of the device. I don't care, I think it looks quite good.
It's not like I have to constantly see the screen.
It's like a map.
1) read the map, plan the route
2) go.
3) periodically check the map/screen.

Last question,
The rdna 40 had a bit of a dodgy finish. It felt lovely but easily tarnished and scratched.
Is the one you've got similar or better?

Thanks

It was just before christmas. I got one as soon as it was listed on the site so I'd think it wasnt released long before. I'd still pay the same amount now, its a nice mod.

This is very true I hardly ever look at my screen, even then on the vs166 its only a flip of the wrist.

I've had no problem at all with the finish at all, no atty scaring or paint chipping (I think VS has warrented the paint but not 100% sure on that).

Your welcome.

BTW the 166(dna 250), board is considered better than the 133(dna 250), board for its reverse polarity protection AFAIK.

Also take a peek at the Therion 166 with black frame (a very nice looking mod also).
