This is exactly what I would do. You CAN take it apart and diagnose... but it doesn't mean you should.
I will keep an eye on mine and let you know if I see any wonky battery behavior.
The fact that it arrived "dead" (no charge) is not normal. My guess is that unit has a bad battery.
^ I'd guess the same. Lipos are rarely shipped completely dead. Sounds like you have a dud cell.
I've been quite impressed with this little guy. I always roll the same 0.8 ohm 28ga micro-coils in my spheroids. Last night I popped a coil dry burning it and took a look at the 100' roll of 30ga I've had sitting around, so I decided to roll a 30ga micro since I can regulate power. Came out at 1.5 ohms, and gives a surprisingly good vape at only 12-13 watts. I was running the 28ga 0.8 ohm coils at 15 watts.
My plus button did get stuck once already, requiring me to pry it out with a sharp knife, but otherwise it's been reliable with good battery life. With this 1.5 ohm coil at 12 watts, I'm only drawing 2.83 amps, as opposed to drawing 4.33 amps with the 0.8 ohm coil at 15 watts.

Pulled mine off the charger and the red charging indicator is still lit a few hours later. Anyone else having this issue?
Nope the only flaws on mine is the paint finish and the screen being crooked.

Thanks. That's what I feared. Oh well, I waited a month, what the heck. Already sent an email to support.
I did put it on the charger after it began to reset over and over. I'll hit on it with a dual coil setup tonight, see how it does.
50% or less mine takes 3+ hours to charge. What did the battery indicator bar look like when you took it off?
edit: sorry misread, it's still lit after you pull it off?
Yeah was still lit red when I pulled it off the charger, It ran itself dead. I've emailed VS waiting for a reply.

Mine acted a little strange on Saturday. I woke up and the light was green from charging over night. Came back from making coffee and the light was red. I plugged/unplugged it several times and it went back to green.
Never had it stay lit without a usb cable in it though. Sorry to hear that. I was hoping they'd fixed the usb troubles some were having with the VS20.
Vaporshark is pretty big...why don't they have a presence on ECF? Someone should be here answering questions.
My order shipped out today for my 3/10 black USB preorder. USPS hasn't updated yet so I'm not sure if it has actually left VS. Either way an update for the others here waiting

I would definitely address the issue to VS. Looks like a faulty battery or bad connection. Hope you straighten things up quickly.
