stick with reputable batteries from known suppliers, do a forum search for Baditude, he has lots of great info posted on batteries and battery safety. My personal favorites are the Sony Vtc4 but there are a lot of clones on the market. I also like the Lg He2's .
As far as rewicking or coil changing, that will depend on what tank you get, but all tanks will require that type of maintenance....this is one reason most have suggested tanks that use premade coils (like the tfv4), much easier to maintain, when the coil is done, just unscrew it, and screw in a new one, prime (allow the liquid to saturate the wick) and you are ready to go. Some of the tanks mentioned above are RTA's that require you to make your own coil and wick.
Does the Sony Vtc5 last longer than the Vtc4?

I will be purchasing the Joyetech Cuboid mod and Smok tfv4.

the VTC5 is higher mAh, so it should last a bit longer, BUT, it doesn't have as high of a CDR rating, the VTC4 is a safer battery on high powered applications...best bet is to purchase a couple sets, and a charger, so you always have a charged set ready to swap out when one dies. Also, "mate" your battery sets, mark them as a pair, and ALWAYS use the paired sets together, no mix and match

What is the best battery and charger to purchase for the Joyetech Cuboid mod?

Will I have to change cotton or coils with the Joyetech Cuboid mod?
The Cuboid is a 150 watt 2-cell mod. If you're going to vape in the 100-120 watt range and below, you can use 20A batteries. Popular ones are the Samsung 25Rs or the LG HE2s or HE4s or the Sony VTC5s. For better battery life (3000 mAh) choose the LG HG2s or the Samsung 30Qs. All of the above are good 20A batteries. If you wish to use the mod at the top of the power scale, you will need Sony VTC4s or VTC3s (if you can find them) or the LG HB6s. Be advised the battery life will suffer with the higher amp batteries and you will probably need spares.

Yes, no matter what tank you use, you will have to change coils and/or wicks occasionally. How often, and how hard it will be, depends on a lot of factors, like what tanks, what kind of coil and wick you are using, whether or not you build them or use prefabs, the thickness and sweetness of your juice and the watts you want to vape.

It might be a little late, but the problem with pairing the TFV4 with the Vaporshark DNA200 is that the TFV4 is a wide tank. It will be wider than the Vaporshark DNA200. And with the Vaporshark DNA200 being such a light mod, the combo will be VERY top heavy. Here is a couple of pictures of my TFV4 tank on my Vaporshark DNA200. You can noticed that on the front edge, there is a very visible overhang, and on the sides, while the thickness of the mod is exactly the same thickness of the tank, with the rounded top edge, this results in a slight overhang on the sides as well. If you want to pair a TFV4 with the DNA200, I would recommend the TFV4 Mini, which is slightly smaller.

He isn't going for the vaporshark... opting for the Cuboid
Oh, and the TFV4 mini would fit that vaporshark nicely :)

Is that a hint????? ;)

The Cuboid is a good choice, I love the two that I have.
I do covet that mod. Someday I'll have one :)
Have not been happy with the build quality of the Hcigar DNA200....though to be fair, it is very likely the fault of the supplier, since my replacement from the first one was a used one, that looked to have been used hard.

And your review of it was one of the reasons I suggested the Cuboid to him, since he was after more power then something like the evic vtc mini would provide, but wasn't really ready for the DNA200 step.
The mods I am predominantly using now is the Cuboid, the iStick 100W TC, and the Reuleaux RX200. On occasion I use the Vaporshark and the Reuleaux DNA200 with drippers.

Honestly I think the Cuboid is the best combination of power and size.

I purchased the Cuboid about a month ago and it is displaying "Atomizer Short".

I am using a smoktech TFV4 and Sony VTC4 batteries.

Do you know why this might be happening?

I will probably purchase another mod. Is there a mod similar to the Cuboid that requires the least amount of maintenance?

What maintenance does the Vaporshark DNA200 require? Do I have to replace cotton, perform maintenance on the coils etc...? If it requires anything more than just replacing the atomizer every two weeks or so then I would probably want a simpler box mod.

The tfv4 has a long 510 pin. The cuboid shares the same 510 connection as the rx200 which is known to get stuck.

Coils and cotton don't really have anything to do with the mod, that's tank maintenance.

The mod itself doesn't require much maintenance. Get a shark skin if you don't want to scratch it up.

Should note than any attys with a diameter larger than 22mm will have overhang.
