A lot of them are using DNA40 mods but only with kanthal. They probably know that nickel is a pain to work with- so they are just avoiding it.

This is me right now. I'm new to building coils so I figured I'd start easy with kanthal. At some point I'm sure I'll try some nickel, but for now a 1.4 ohm kanthal build is giving me great flavor in my Russian.

New that temco has 26g Ni200 in stock, decided to try it out. Tried a twisted 26 and 32 both Ni200 11/12 wraps on 3mm drill bit contact coil. I started with expectation that ohms could be low around 0.06 or even lesser, but the build measured at 0.13. Could anybody throw some insight if this is a correct or is something wrong.

If correct, would like this build as coils are very sturdy and easier to work with. Attached a pic for reference.

Me too just getting back in. Rdna40w is here as well as kanthal, cotton and taifun gt. Just waiting on tools and juice. Going to start watching youtube on how to build.

I have an Istick. It's not bad but I wouldn't pay $70 for it. You should have a decent backup or 3. No decent vape shops in Korea?

I actually just now went exploring in my new neighborhood (just moved last week) and found an awesome B&M on my last attempt. One of the other shops had the iStick for $70 (eLeaf uses a single chain shop as its exclusive dealer in Korea so prices are jacked up).

This place is the first one I've found in Korea that sells rebuildables. They mostly move mechmods and didn't have any regulated ones in stock. I asked if it was possible to buy the display model Hana Modz mini 30 and they sold it to me used for $30. Apparently they had it for a month and no one ever wanted to try it out so they were trying to get rid of it. I gave them a 30ml bottle of Freckled Lemonade as a thank you...

tl;dr I stumbled across the greatest B&M in Korea in my new neighborhood and now have a Hana Modz mini 30 to tide me over until my Vapor Shark comes in!

Well, the obvious...you must be CERTAIN that the wire is Ni200. Don't know whether you can wick it yourself, or, need to return to the shop to have them rebuild it in your presence...eyes on the wire they use).

Other than that you should try hitting the fire button repeatedly while watching the Display. It may drop into temperature mode. (Perhaps four or five fires will do the trick.)

Lastly, if the shop did not build correctly (secure connection & the like) that would also make getting to temperature mode difficult...or impossible.

Get back to us with your results...

Well, after looking at the wire better, I think he gave me Kanthal, lol. I have a roll of Ni200 coming on Monday so I will rebuild then. Either way, nice device!

I have a rDNA30 and noticed something odd when I have used a sub-ohm coil. My device is at about 80% charge and that shows correctly when I have a +1 ohm coil vaping at about 15W. However, I recently threw in a .6 ohm coil and when I pushed wattage up to 28W, the battery went straight to zero. The device still functions as expected, but I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this glitch with their rDNA 30.

Anyone know if vaporshark is no longer selling their rDNA 30? Went on the site and its no longer listed. Huge bummer if thats the case. Hope its just an error

Interesting; yeah I don't see it either. I own an rDNA 30 and it's a great mod. Wonder why they don't have it on the site right now?
