So I just got to work (I open all my new goodies at work, cuts down on the wife's nagging when she doesn't see packages ;) ), and I must say that while I'm a very vocal supporter of J, I continue to underestimate him. This looks awesome man; I'm giving it a bath (found quite a bit of left over machine oil in the screw wells), and then looking forward to setting it up. pictures don't do it justice, but will try to get some up when it's ready.

No need really, a quick wash with some dish soap and good rinse took care of it. Not a big deal, something I do with any new tank or rba anyway. Just be careful when taking the glass off and to not get water in the 510 connection. Then a very light coat of pg on the orings and the glass will go on much easier.

Anyone know where ican get extra glass or Pyrex for the stratus 19 mine broke last night

Bedazzle Tubes sells them and she has a web site now. I would suggest ordering a set of Stratus o-rings from her too, to be sure it will fit correctly. I have one of hers on my Stratus 19 & love it!! :)

Here it is, pretty simple to set up and looks great. Very nice machining and hits great, the small chamber around the coil makes all the difference.

One minor complaint is that it smelled of oil pretty heavily when it arrived. Gave it a good cleaning and good to go.

OK, just found this and I'm extremely interested. I have the same Poldiac config ordered and I was curious as to which finish you have on the Stratus?

Received mine Saturday.

Started well losing a negative connection screw within a few minutes while taking it apart for cleaning but there was a couple of spares thankfully.

Been playing with smaller diameter attys for a while and this seemed like a beast. Certainly built like one. Seriously solid.

So one cleaned got on with the wick. Not really gotten on with SS rope to date so out with the mesh and for my first run went with a single rather than my normal U wick.

Popped it on a Vari but have a Roller and Paps waiting. Went with a 4 wrap ribbon giving me 1.7 so Vari at 4 volts initially.

Flavour is very good and vape production even at quite modest wattage is excellent.

Taking a different path this year in that rather than rushing through devices I am going to take a few months to make sure I have a good idea of its capabilities. Last year went a bit mad and rushed through so many devices and have revisited a few as I didn't take the time to appreciate them.

This is an atty well deserved of time taken to learn it's nuances just by build quality alone. Having spent some time playing with eastern clones really nice to have another original design to go with my other toys.

Ugh. I thought I had it clean. Machine oil is still there. Is removing the internals & using vinegar the manufacturers recommendation for cleaning?

Check the two neg screws, that's the only place I found machining oil, and also found a lot of shavings in the bottom of the wells.
