Should I get the vs rdna 40 or wait and get the yihi sx mini with temp control when it comes out next month

I have the rDNA 40, I like it a lot with the size, look, and the zip charge. Definitely this has the easier battery access. My issues with the rDNA is some of them out there still has scrambled screen issue like mine.

For the sx mini, I don't like the menu tilting accelerometer, check out pbusardo review of it.

I have several dna mods most of which are dna40s. 4 vsrdna40s and 2 vsdna40s.
The upside to the yihi chip(sxmini) would be the additional power, and the chip appears to provide more 'features.'. the chip with temp control has not been released yet, being one of the first to have the dna40 chip I was ne of those involved in the 'glitchy screen mess' which while several will cuss evolve, and vapor shark over the entire fiasco, the truth of the matter was resolving it was as simple as a phone call, dropping the Damaged unit in the mail and a week later getting a new unit. Literally it was that easy, 1 call.
How will that work with yihi being in china?

I was all ready to pounce in the new sx mini until I read somewhere here about yihi not even honoring warranty issues. With a 150-200 dollar mod. I want support. My VSDNA30 had to go in a few months after the warranty was up and even that was just a phone call and a 4day turnaround.

Granted 60w is a great umber fro, the power perspective, but, the sx350j chip is supposed tombs upgradeable to 120w with a dual battery configuration. Coupled with the few owners of the current mod told me they are getting between 4-5 hours on one battery now, I get about 40 on the rdna40.
I see myself maybe using 50w on a dual coil so 60w gives me a bit of headway; however, I'm sure a dual battery mod with that chip is not far away, I will probably hold off and keep ,ymdba40s since I know and trust the support from evolv and vapor shark, let the pizaz behind then new yihi product die down and get a dual battery mod with that chip down the road.

That's my 2cents and only speaking from my own experience,

Someone said be patient. If you get a Vaporshark be prepared to wait 10 days processing time before they ship it. I waited 14 days to get mine. I love mine. The smaller form factor, magnetic door, the skins you can buy with it, wireless charging and the zip charge is pretty quick. If I was you I would go with the Vaporshark. I have had some Yihi chip mods but the quality of the box mod that houses it has been give or take. If you want a DNA40/Temp Controlled device also look at a Hana V4D with the dual batteries or even a Vapor Flask. Of course a Vapor Flask is about $300 so not sure if you wanna spend that much. I saw the SX350 Mini with the new chip coming out and for the dual batteries it adds a horrible tube that makes the mod look horrible. Someone on here posted a pic I believe and it looked like a light saber. As far as warranty I had a a few Yihi mods and I couldn't get a response so the service was horrible. Good thing about Vaporshark is it is here in the US so quicker warranty times

I have a VS rdna40... It's an amazing device, my best one so far. If you get ur build and wicking right, using ni200 with temp control is just amazing. It does require a bit of trial and error tho. I'm currently running a 0.3 ohm build on my kayfun v4, contact coil, with the wick tight the temp control doesn't even kick in cos the juice and airflow is enough to keep it below 420F that I set as the limit... the first wicks I did were too loose and temp control was kicking in all the time giving totally unsatisfactory vape. Doing it properly gets me to vape at 25W on this build with great flavour and dense vapor production.

I ordered my rDNA 40 from another vendor and received it in perfect working order in about four days. Have been vaping it on and off for a week or so and absolutely love it! I would say it is on of the best devices I own besides my provari, but either way I am definenitly a fan of the DNA platform after graduating from my DNA 20.

Hey guys can someone please enlighten me on the difference between the DNA 40 vs DNA 40D? I just pulled the trigger late last night on the Vapor Shark DNA 40 then of course today I noticed the VS rDNA 40 says it has "the DNA 40D under the hood". I guess all im trying to figure out is did I just purchase the older DNA chip from VS? Is there any benefits to getting the DNA 40D? Thanks in advance and Happy Easter!
