I had read somewhere that the Vapresso cCell Kanthal coils areally compatible with the Aspire Atlantis 2 tank, and was wondering if it was true?
I'm excited to try these ceramic coils, but I haven't bought the Vapresso Target mod/tank yet. It would be cool if they would work in a tank I already have. Hopefully all manufacturers will start making ceramic coils for all tanks, because the perks sound amazing!

Someone did a great job at listing all cross-compatible coils and there is a LOT of them.

And I have the Atlantis 2 and other tanks that uses the same coils (Eleaf Melo 2, and Freemax Scylla), and yes they are compatible as I've been using the cCells with my tanks. (but the NI ones)

But for the cCells, for me they started great, but then, not as much. Any liquid with sweeteners will clog them easily.

Second "but".. they are great cartridges to take apart and rebuild, which I now do.

Cool thx 4 the info
I was actually just watching a vid on youtube where I guy was reviewing the kanthal coils in his atlantis 2 tank. He was evendors using the same mod as me (IPV D2) and he was saying they were awesome. He was vaping a 50/50 blend, I wonder if that would be better for the clogging issue? Regardless I vape max VG, so hopefully they don't clog too soon cuz they're a lil pricey. So I just got my atlantis 2 in the mail 2day and so far I like it alot, and the Aspire replacement coils are super cheap! I was happy I got it cuz I'm waiting for replacement coils for my Joyetech Cubis tank, which has I really love! Any info on compatible coils for the Cubis? I went to my local vape shops and they didn't even know what I was talking about and even if they did they're prices were crazy high. Anyway thx again and I'll order up some kanthal coils!

I try to stick to 50/50 liquids (and now I diy - do my own liquids, so no sweeteners). Unless you have issues with PG, the whole "maxVG" is mostly a cloud chasing thing, lower flavours, more clouds.

The Atlantis2 is an "ok" tank, but I much prefer my other ones, a big part is top/side fill... no more having to take the tank apart to refill. My Atlantis is used only for it's base, to have on my coil Ohm tester as I rebuild my coil cartridges, so I don't have to take my other tanks apart.

About the coils themselves, the Aspire tend to be the lowest rated, so anything else would be better.

If you want to look into rebuilding... don't get pre-made coils, keep your old cartridges, get wire and build them yourself, aka roll the wire correctly and wrap it in cotton and fit them inside the cartridges... not hard, but needs to be done right.
There's a bunch of videos about it on YouTube.
Sorry, can't help for the Cubis, not something that I have interest in, but you should simply do a search, should be fairly easy to find the info, but I know that aside the Atlantis type coils, there's no other cartridge type out there that comes close to the number of compatible coils available.

I'm new to vaping so I'm still ignorant to alot of stuff
For instance the VG/PG ratio. I had read that the high VG has better flavor, and that a high PG was more harsh for the "throat hit". I knew about the cloud production with the high VG, and thought it would be good psychologically for me since I just quit smoking. I don't like the mouth 2 lung hits when it comes to vaping, which was another reason why I didnt think I'd like a higher PG.
I like the real sweet flavorful ejuice so far. If u don't use any sweetener in your DIY juice, what flavors do u make/like?

PG carries flavour a lot more than VG.. VG needs to steep a LOT before the flavours come through.
PG has the throat hit, but at 50/50, it's more the nicotine that's going to be harsh (unless you are sensitive to PG).

A good liquid, done right, some PG in it will not be harsh at all. (again, it's the nicotine that will play into that).

For liquids... VG is sweet already, and most flavours will have it's own sweetness already. I'm making flavours from fruits to custards, to just about anything and even my "bad" ones are kicking the store stuff's .....

I'm very difficult as a LOT of store stuff would taste very chemical to me... (none of that with the homemade stuff), so I'd have to get the really expensive liquids (30$ and up for 30ml). Now.. I have a bunch of the store stuff to use up and very few of them do much for me now...the home stuff is that good.

Even my wife hates that we've spent so much on these liquids when we have better stuff now, and at a fraction of the price, for example, just a "starter" kit at 50$ is enough to make over a liter (enough to do about 30 some bottles of 30ml). Compared to even just 20$ per 30ml bottles in stores, that's over 600$'s worth.

Seriously, if you'd be in my area, I'd invite you over to give a few a try and I'm 100% certain that you'd be stunned.

That would be cool, but I live in nowhere Iowa. I'd entertain the idea of buying a bottle from ya though.
I do like the idea of DIY ejuice and everything from anyone I've read say it's super cheap and better than premium. I've only been vaping for 3wks and the idea of DIY my own juice seems intimidating

I though the same...

And learned that it is NOT hard at all...

All you need is two things:

Time to check out recipes
and the recipe tool

Check what recipes you like/interest you so to know what flavours to get, and find a good place to order.

I'm in Canada and have a few good places but you'd be better to check the DIY section for recommendations for a good place to order in the US.

The only physical tool you need is a measuring tool (I use a "Elmo" baby medicine spoon - the one that has measurements - 10ml). I'm awaiting for better beakers type now. (and you'll need bottles that should come in a proper kit)

I've only been doing DIY for about 1.5 months now and kicking myself over "why didn't I do this before!!!"

funny thing to add... my wife will every so often use the store stuff just so not to waste it, but more to have an empty bottle so that I can make her something new in it. (our empty bottle stock is dead.. just ordered 40x30ml and 40x50ml of them).
I was looking at this Crystal Skull ejuice that comes in a glass skull w/dropper. I think they sell it empty too. The juice flavor is called Berry Brains, haven't heard any reviews but it's cheap ($14)

For many store stuff, you can find "clone" recipes.. but as long as you have a good idea what the flavourings are, you can easily wing it bit by bit, and get very close to the same or better. The other beaty about DYI, and that you do it.. so you add more flavour, change it a bit, etc. Simply have fun with it... small batches if you're not sure of the outcome... but overall.. it's really becomes a hobby.

I did all my flavours as "single bases" at first (in 50/50, no nic.) , so that I can try them "pure" and see how they were, and as they steep alone. Then I can do a quick mix of a few together and test it on a dripper.

And back to the coil thing... a bit of practice and you can rebuild these vaperasso coils fairly easily..using your preference... and mine (the rebuilds) are better than any coil on the market....

I've been using my rebuild coil for over 2 weeks now and it's still working fantastic. Used 26 gauge NI200 at a 3.5 width, with cotton... (using temp. control). Takes maybe 2-5 minutes to do once you get the hang of it.

Cool. U should post an instructional vid on youtube. Although now that I think about it theres probably tons already. I thought that doing rebuilds sounded even more intimidating than the DIY juice
