Vaptio Cosmo G1 Kit
Compared to the Cosmo and Cosmo Plus, the new G1 changes its shape and appearance while maintaining high performance.

The new G1 is more compact, as an Aio device must be, well finished and solid.

The circuit has essential functions, operates in VW mode and has a wide adjustment for MTL vaping from 1 to 35W.

The 1,500mAh battery is now rechargeable via a USB Type-C port

The profitable Coils are the same used successfully on the previous Cosmo Kits.

Its great strength is the ease of use and management of the refill, in this respect few devices perhaps none are able to beat it.

How it is made:

The zinc alloy frame is covered with a plastic surface with different textures depending on the area, at the top the texture emulates the skin while below we find two areas with diagonal lines both of these solutions give a very pleasant tactile feedback.
On the side the Vaptio writing takes on different shades depending on the reflected light.

For the liquid control, we have two small but effective diagonal windows.

The bridge houses a fairly comfortable fire button, built in oval-shaped plastic material, with texture and slightly protruding.
The 0.69-inch monochrome OLED display below is arranged vertically and shows in order: graphic battery level, VW unique vape mode, wattage lock / unlock symbol, coil resistance and set wattage.
The Up / Down rocker button is well sized, made of plastic material, oval in shape, slightly protruding.

On the back at the top we find the air regulation system with "gate" design, simple but effective, braked at the right point for an optimal and rapid adjustment.

Under the air regulation system there is the pod / tank ejection button called "Popping-Out-Pod", the first system in the world of this kind applied to the vape, it's brilliant!

It is a round key with a lot of indicator (padlock). By pressing it, the pod / tank with a small jump unlocks immediately, grabbing the drip-tip we extract it with ease.

Looking at the compartment/pod inside the device, it is possible to see on the front wall both the area used for the sliding of the airflow and the locking / unlocking mechanism of the tank (a small tooth).
At the bottom of the compartment are three contact pins, gold-plated / spring loaded.

The USB Tipe-C 5V / 1A charging socket is located on the bottom of the mod, it doubles as a vent for the internal 1,500mAh battery.

The Vaptio G1 cartridge is made of transparent PCTG and contains up to 3ml of liquid (2ml TPD version).
In the image below (indicated by the arrow) we see the slot used for transporting air to the coil.

Using a specific adapter we can screw any of Vaptio's "C" series coils or, alternatively, those of Aspire for the Nautilus and press them directly into the tank.

Everyone knows the exceptional performance of the Vaptio coils by now and this device enhances its qualities even more, thanks to the optimal regulation of the air flow and a well-sized 510 drip-tip (replaceable) for MTL vaping.

In addition, the heat transmitted to the lips always remains within acceptable values thanks to the much less conductive PCTG material than the metals used in traditional tanks.

Mesh-Coil Vaptio Cosmo C4 from 0.7Ω range 10-20W: The optimal efficiency is with open or slightly partialized slot, I use it with profit at 18W.

Coil Vaptio Cosmo C3 in Kanthal from 1.2Ω range 9-15W: I had not tried this yet, in practice it is a cross between 0.7Ω and 1.6Ω, perhaps it is closer to 1.6Ω as the vapor issued is lukewarm and the overall yield is good and very similar.

* The Chipset of the Cosmo G1 has the intelligent detection function of the optimal wattage for the 1.2Ω coil.
In practice, the default setting is 13W, you can still vary the wattage, but it will be impossible to go beyond 15W! This is a great feature to preserve the life of the coils and avoid careless users from burning the cotton.
Unfortunately, on the other coils the intelligent function is not active, leaving the user with the task of complying with the values indicated as is normally done with all devices.

Even after several sessions of compulsive vaping with intense use and with various coils, I did not detect any noteworthy traces of condensation inside the Pod compartment.
Definitely a point in favor of Vaptio and its Coils.

My favorites remain the two 0.7Ω coils simply because I prefer a rather airy vape.

The refill:
One of the best innovations that Vaptio has made is the refueling operation, it can be carried out quickly from above and without removing anything, in fact, just lift the rubber cap and insert the spout of your dispenser.
Excellent solution indeed, all producers should take an example.

Display of protection indications and functions:
- Power on / off: Press the Fire button five times in less than two seconds.
- To lock / unlock the wattage press the Up / Down buttons together
- To enter the menu (Sleep Time-Vape Time-Version) press the Fire button three times in less than two seconds, press Up / Down to select and Fire to confirm.
The maximum activation length (cut-off) is adjustable from 1 to 10s, default (10s).
The screen, by default, has a programmed time of 60s before going to stand-by, the sleep-time function allows you to vary this time from 5 to 120s.
By selecting Version we can check the firmware version installed.

Notes: A full charge cycle for the 1,500mAh internal battery takes approximately 80 minutes.
