So, I am looking to get myself a new device. I have always loved wood, so what better than a wooden mod? Looking around, I have found Red Sky mods, and Hog Mods, which both look pretty great! Are there any others building wooden mods? They seem to be a bit pricy, though that is understandable given the hand made nature. Any word on reliability? Also, variable voltage seems the way to go. Just got my first VV from madvapes and am loving it so far. Now, I just can't go back to fixed voltage. Thanks for any info about these, and vape away vapers! :vapor:

Thanks Balthezar! I've been vaping now for about 6 months. Just took that long to join the forum, although I have gotten some good info here in the past just reading other posts. You know, this vaping thing is becoming sort of a hobby. I'm sure you've never heard that before! ,)

Ive ordered at least one set of every cartomizer on the market to try out. Various atomizers and tanks. Diffrent batterys. I finnaly had to just buckle down and buy the biggest best thing on the market instead of inching my way too it with each new try out. On the bonus side i now have a box full of crap to give my Provari a full test run on everything possible when it arrives. :D

There is just so much out there! I've been through quite a bit, starting with an overpriced starter from the local "head shop". That thing was garbage, but it got me going with vaping. No small blessing there! Mega batteries, egos...etc. I was using the Prodigy V3.1 for a while, until I left it in my coat pocket on a motorcycle ride. Now it is on the roadside somewhere! Oops! Now I am back to the ego, and this VV from madvapes. Started using the Fluxomizers now. Good flavor and a piece of cake to clean, though I have blown a couple out with the VV. Again...oops. LR carts are nice too! Hoping to get my hands on a nice wooden mod. I get the feeling I will be waiting a while though. There seems to be a waiting list. Good things come to those who wait!

I own a RSM Cutlass 5.2 and my mom also owns one. They are great mods Very little voltage drop under load and extremely reliable. However being made out of wood I am much more cautious with it then I am with my GG's.

I have also heard good things about the Hoggs Mods but have no expierence. There is also The Grip which comes in many configurations 3.7 and VV and there are bottom feeder versions of both. The last VV wood mod I know of is The Monkeybox but I believe the person that makes them is taking a mod making break for school and I am not sure if or when he will be back to making them.
