Variable 5v-12v Pc Powered Nicostick

hi as im waiting for some surefire batts from hong kong and i have already built my nicostick i decided to build it usb passthrough style but was not getting much vapour so as i love my pc's i took a variable speed fan controller which is rated from 5v up to 12v using a thumb wheel control and i must say it turned out fantastic it cant be hooked to usb but its hooked upto the poere supply just thought i would share it with you tell me what you think

One question, does it burn through cartridges twice as fast on the 12 volt charge?

It's a good idea. For those time when you need a big hit!!

to be honest i only finished it about 15 minutes ago so far so good have tried it full power a couple of times but scared it will burn the atty out lol i dont have a volt meter to test voltage but im probably running 6 volts gives a nice amount of vapour cartridge wise i direct drip i should have some more info in a bit lol
