Off topic i guess since i havent read through the posts but is it true that you can drink vg to help with arthritis ?
I read this when searching for VG one time
"
Best to wait for BrianFH to see & post.
I first ingested two ounces of CVS "pure glycerin USP" and became nauseous.
When it relieved arthritic pain in my knees and ankles in One day, I reduced the amount taken to 2/3 ounce twice a day.
To reduce ongoing cost, I ordered "Vegetable Glycerin USP - Kosher - Medical Grade" from amazon.com.
The label also reads "Finest Quality Vegetable Glycerin"
It continues to relieve my arthritic pain and my Lady is now ingesting to relieve her pain.
Yesterday my ankles were disappointingly sore. Since they are better today (Saturday), I suspect the cause of the pain was weather related. Wednesday it was 90-some humid degrees. Thursday night it got down to lower 40-some degrees and dry.
So far, I don't think ingesting has helped psoriasis at all. (Began April 30, 2011.)
I'm not a doctor, not a nurse, not a pharmacist, etc.
( I have an IQ of 142 and worked on mainframe computers for many years. I.E., " I ain't no dummy" )
My dermatologist, holding a doctoral degree and with many years of experience,
specifically said "there is no risk using topical steroids".
Let's have a show of hands of all here who agree there is no risk with the use of topical steroids.
Medicine is a service. (period)
If I have a legal question, I consult an attorney. And weigh the advice obtained.
Same with medical questions and doctors.
MORE importantly, I live with my body 24 X 7.
Obviously, there are serious legal ramifications possible if medicine is practiced without a license.
I report what helps or doesn't help Me, honestly.
If anyone Chooses to imitate, I hope they post their results.
Good Will to Men (and women) - and Relief to All,
Bob
