What bums me out is how awesome Ice beard used to be 6+ months ago. Nowadays I couldn't agree more.... pure menthol. It used to taste, to me, like a genuine menthol cig aside from the taste of burning organic matter in the mix. It was easily my favorite juice from VCV.

Got a bottle now that I hardly touch except to add a drop of menthol when I'm craving it and even that's a little too much.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed this!
I've been using their juices exclusively for a year too. Yes, Ice Beard used to be consistently good. Something must have changed with VCV because Ice Beard tastes different every time I order it. There are times when it tastes like watered down tobacco with no menthol, sometimes just straight menthol. I have complained to VCV directly. The have sent me replacement bottles that don't taste any better. Steeping doesnt make a difference.
Now when I complain, they just ignore my emails.
It happens with other flavors too.

Wow, pretty impressed with their new sample pack thing..

Wasn't expecting it to be like that...


Can choose from every flavor, via a drop-down (though not for various nic levels -- all have to be the same)..

Figured they would have pre-grouped them or something.. Their way is much better...


Little pricey, at 5 bottles of 5ml each (non-sale price), for a total of $25.. But, that's how it goes with those pretty much anywhere.. Not really paying for the juice, per se, but the bottles, labels & VCV's time..

Then again, if you wanted to sample stuff the old way, it would have cost you $50 for five 15ml each..

Or, you would have had to make 5 separate orders, request those samples, and actually gotten those samples..


Of course, if they're the same bottles as their typical sample bottles, that 5ml is more like 7-7.5 ml (for a total of 35-37.5 ml)...


Anyway, now that I think about it, this might be a good way for me to see if going back up to 3mg would be a good idea..

I've been at zero-nic for almost 3 months now, and have been thinking about / wanting to go back up to 3mg the whole time..


It happens to vapers more often than you think..

Whether I tried pushing it too much too soon, or what, I don't know.. But, just the way the cookie crumbles..


I might end up being wrong, but it seems like I was best at 3mg.. Anything less than that at this stage just doesn't seem right, at various levels, at least for now.. (Technically I'll be at like 2.775mg for my DIY, but close enough.. )

Probably vape zero-nic part-time, still.. Switch back & forth for a while...


The way I look at it, is I was a pretty heavy smoker for a long time.. Didn't happen overnight, but in gradual ebbs & flows.. Just like cutting out vaping (or even nic) isn't going to happen overnight, either..

Like I said, it's more common than you think, as weird as it seems.. "But why go back when you've already made it this far?"

Well, that's the mentality on the way down.. But then the reality of zero-nic comes into play when you arrive..

Maybe sort of like how a large jet lands on a runway.. Doesn't happen in one smooth linear fashion...

Anyway, will give me an opportunity to try out the new flaves!

I also wish VCV did smaller bottles of unflavored, like 30-60ml...

Don't worry, I don't think you're crazy for going back up I think you were crazy to go down in the first place! I've been holding steady for a year at 12mg.

I recently got a Saber Touch VV and a Zenith V2 RDA. With my IGO-W on my ProVari, I could drip at 12 or 15mg no problem. But, with the Saber/Zenith setup, I dropped it to 3mg quickly!
Vaping 11mg in a Kayfun on the ProVari, custom VCV mixing of course!!

Yeah, zero-nic has its pros & cons...

Want a really unsatisfying vape? Try zero-nic unflavored.. It's like the rice cakes of the vaping world..


Anyway, trying to figure out which flavors I want to get in my sample pack.. This is hard!

Definitely have to go with the 3 new flavors, anyway.. Mewlew's Revenge, Mt Shasta & Monkey Leisure..

Not sure if it's the flavoring, or the nic, or something else that VCV uses in their already-made juice, but I'm getting some pretty strong throat-hit that I'm not used to..

Also getting really light-headed.. Step away from the nic, Gato..


I've only tried Monkey Leisure so far, but it's pretty tasty.. Tastes like Vanilla Custard, but with bananas.. I'm guessing over time, the custard gets stronger & the banana gets weaker... Try it if you're into that kind of stuff.. I won't re-order it or try to re-create it, but it's still good..


Anyway, do they know who I am?? Not only did I get just one of the stickers (luckily not the cartoon one, which I publicly disagreed with here), but I also got Catherine as a sample -- and it smells like the better older version! Are they trying to win me back?


Mewlew's Revenge smells really good.. More taste-testing later...

Mewlew's Revenge is pretty darn good!

I like it better than Monkey Leisure.. And I think I like it better than the original Mewlew's..


Tastes like the original, but also has this additional layer to it, like a mild general fruit taste.. I can't specifically pick out the elderberry (which apparently tastes like blackberry), black currant & blueberry.. But it has this overall sweetness & "fullness" to it.. At least with my set-up...

Nicely done.. Liking it more than I thought I would..

Yep, the ol' 2-month mark does it every time.. At least with certain VCV flavors.. Definitely a bummer with natural/organic..
