Vendor Opinions Needed

What's up guys?

So I am two weeks into vaping and i'm still looking for a Juice I really enjoy. Right now my Setup is the Evod Starter kit alternating between the Evod Clearomizer and the Aspire ET-S. The Vendor I have been using now for the past few weeks os MBV(Mt Baker Vapor) I have tried like 12 of there flavors all of them had super high ratings. The problem i'm having is a little difficult to solve and i'm not sure if its the juice or my tanks. The Cinnamon Roll Really gives a harsh burning sensation on my throat and my tounge. This also occours with a BlueBerry Muffin flavor from Vista Vapors. The thing is this seems to be happening when i'm using the Aspire ET-S tank. On the other hand, When I use my Evod Tank using the French Vanilla flavor i'm getting more airflow, No burning sensation, and no extreme dry mouth. But on the other hand the flavor is just weak , I do taste hints of vanilla but thats all. So i'm a little torn between it being the tank or the juice. All the Juice I have been vaping is 24MG 50/50 PG/VG. So far I know it is not the PG which is the problem because some flavors are fine others aren't.

So if you guys could give me some honest opinions of different vendors to try that would be awesome. I have no problem spending decent money on Juice as long as I am getting good quality. I am open to pretty much any flavor weather it be Complex or extremelly simple. Also , Can anybody give an opinion on me switching to 18mg Juice. I have been using 24mg for two weeks with no complaints prior to vaping I smoked about a pack to a pack and a half a day of Newport 100s. Also can anyone offer insight if they think maybe the Aspire ET-S is the issue? And one last thing , Any personal stories regarding MBV would help big time and maybe can assist me in changing my opinion of them.

Thank you,
Nick T

Assuming this thread gains some traction, you'll likely get a ton of replies and recommendations. Unfortunately, taste is entirely subjective and what others like, you may dislike. Trial and error is really the only sure fire way to find something you enjoy.

Additionally, your gear has a lot to do with how flavors are transmitted. I'm not suggesting you ditch your current kit but hardware does play a significant role. Like you, I started on eGo/EVOD type kit with EVOD and Vivi Nova clearos. Within a couple of weeks I moved on to an Innokin MVP 2.0 and Nautilus tanks with BVC atomizer heads. The difference in performance and taste was notable. I've since gone to a DNA30 box mod and rebuildable tank atomizers which has proved to be another step up the flavor ladder.

I know you didn't ask about hardware but figured I'd toss it out there. As for juices, my go-to vendors are:

Five Pawns - expensive
The Vapor Chef - mid-range prices
Avail Vapor - mid-range prices
ITCVapes - inexpensive

A resource I use frequently (in addition to the forum here) is juicedb.com. Lots and lots of liquid reviews.

Hardware suggestions are much appreciated! I always love extra insight , Tomorrow I am actually ordering the MVP 2.0 along with a Aspire Nautilius mini and some BVC replacement coils. I realize taste is very much subjective and that seems to be the problem because I see 100s of didferent vendors being suggssted , I am looking for one that alot of people seem to like.

To be honest, I have mostly given up on reading people's reviews of juices since it is so subjective. I have ordered some things that people simply rave about and have been thoroughly unimpressed by them. I do DIY which is my mainstay since i know what I like and it is way cheaper or, even better, I found what flavoring vendors were using to make a juice and just make it myself. I have found 1 vendor that makes 2 flavors I really like and would re-order but that is it after months of trying different ones. I will keep trying out vendors since there are about a billion of them and it is always nice to find a new flavor. But the search continues for that holy grail taste from a store.

MBV was one of those I see people rave about and I ordered a bunch of their juice relying on the reviews and did not like 1 single flavor i got from them. I mean something as easy as watermelon tasted completely like chemicals to me. I had to dump 1/2 the bottle since I just couldn't take it. 5 Pawns was another one that left me unimpressed. They were not bad but definitely not totally super awesome either and IMHO not worth the price they charge. I feel like you are paying for the packaging with this one which is very nice but still ...

Hold off on juice and when the new hardware shows up retry all the juice you already own.
Find ones you do like that you have and use them until you can research new juices that fit your budget.
Hardware from the low end can make the best most expensive juice taste like garbage, but it does work and on single flavor juices it isn't all that bad.
But the MVP and Aspire should be great for any quality of juice, but I'd still stay away from stuff in the +$20 range for 30ml until you know what you love in a juice.

Everyone does their own thing and I been vaping for only a couple months but what seems to really work well for me is that I picked up @ 20 CE4's off ebay for about $20. I picked up some ego 510 batts and some juices and kept trying them. Those that I used the most I moved up into a bigger clearomizer like the Kanger T3S. If I continue to keep using them as an all day vape they will make it into a pro tank or a nautalus tank. I have drippers but after 40 years of hard core smoking my lungs dont like using them.
I really dont notice that much differance in the flavors except maybe slightly stronger in a bigger tank. If I put a tank on my vamo or spinner and vary the voltage, then I notice a huge differance in the flavors.
I been staying mainly with the T3S's and MT3's on a 510 battery because for me its easier to go places with them in my pocket and I can take 2 or 3 flavors with me. Also I can keep a cord on them and around my neck and that way I can be at work and not worry about them falling out my shirt pocket.

With your nicotine, thats up to you. I was a 3 pack or more a day smoker for 40 years. I quit smoking 4 days after starting vaping and was using 18 mg nicotine. Since then I have cut down to 12 mg on some juices and 6 on others and even zero nicotine on juices i get from ebay. Its what you feel comfortable with.

The only real advice I can give you is to try small bottles of juice first and buy some larger bottles of something like vanillia. A few juices I have are too strong by themselves to me but cut them with vanillia and they are great.
