You get into reloading your own bullets it's a fact you really want to be super careful and get some serious instruction. Want to hang glide ? Even more serious study and listening to an instructor, and on and on .... but there is also 'glorification' by some teachers .... I tried a small test with a new uwell crown rbd deck ... I stared at the finished wire and wick in a SILENCED utube instructional ... I never heard a word, just watched the process .. Then I avoided doing any of the complicated gyrations several did in several videos ... all I can say is take some instructionals with a grain of salt ... I pulled the wick through a quickly break in fired coil, common sense shows that too long a drop down wick will not allow the rba to close ... cotton that isn't pillowed neatly against the squarish vent holes is an obvious clue you've done it wrong.
Ohm reading way off .25 with the wire and cotton from the kit is an obvious caution ... slapped it all together and beautiful clouds, smooth flavor, no problems .... I swear that if one listens to these instructors too carefully one will always be afraid to get deeper into vape techniques ... I watched these instructors recut cotton, pack in 3 different ways, twist and retwist cotton, fluff and refluff till they looked more like beginners than I was ... Jump into a deck if you want and don't let too many instructions scare you ... of course wire gauge and ohms law is critical, but an RBA that's just a complete self contained kit is easy to do.
