Verified Status?

Hello,
I applied quite awhile ago and have been waiting. I know there were family issues and I am all right with waiting longer but want to make sure I was not somehow skipped.
I did not get a notice that it failed so I assumed I was good to go once there was time to connect me.

There's a sticky that explains the expected waiting times. Those times depend on the method you chose for verification. Paypal is the fastest, if you meet the requirements.

The sticky also says you'll be informed if you aren't approved, but I think I read in a previous sticky that you wouldn't necessarily be informed if that was the case.

Make sure you've checked your private messages and/or the spam folder of your email program to see if an administrator has tried to contact you regarding your request. Otherwise, if it's been more than a couple of days for Paypal or Ebay methods or more than a week for the other methods, you probably should reapply.

Couture, something is definitely wrong. A month? Looks like your application didn't get through, for some reason. My verification through Paypal took only a few hours. I think you should reapply.

Just in case you missed this:

PayPal address must match the email you used to register your ECF account. You can add addresses to your PayPal account if the email you registered with ECF isn't associated.

Also make sure your paypal account is verified with paypal.

I re-applied yeaterday. I have been verified with PP for years so I am good there. My ECF email address is one of the many emails tied to my PP account. I will keep everything crossed that it goes thru this time. Would have been nice to have it in a few hours but I'll take a few days at this point.

Me too. I did it the ebay way. Got a pm on 3/17 to type the phrase. Still not verified yet.

I used ebay method no response its been more than a day, but after reading your post I used paypal verfication method. Applied an hour ago... Lets see how fast it is anyways I m not in a hurry though but its good to have, can do some shopping

I applied via the ebay verification, i notice with paypal the email address has to be the same as the one you registered with this site. Can anyone state if my ebay address has to be the same (because mine is different) this could account for the delay.

For the ebay method, I don't think it matters what email address you have associated with it since j0ker will PM you here and then you contact him on ebay with the code he sends you in that PM
