So Cal
I just had another thought on these. Many have reported that the center post is too long and I noticed this was well. One fix is to install the base before installing the head but I found that because the head is not seated properly it tends to turn (unscrew) when removing the top to refill so i went the other route and filed down the center post. Now my question.

Bad mentioned the new head units will fix the center post issue as well so I have to assume the heads units have been shortened. So what will happen when installing the new head units onto a Vivi with a modified center post? Will the center post now be too short to function properly?

Chris ( badkola ) estimated when the factory would ship only 2 pages back so if you are curious, go back and read what he posted... just to be clear, he was only giving an estimated guess

On the 15th Chris said "I would say about 2 to 4 days before shipping, they have been testing and testing and then getting material all in to start production then do testing on each line etc.." But it was about 6 pages back ;)

I probably should have said it was "X" posts back ( 63 I think it was from your post )... I've got my settings so I get 40 posts per page... so it was only 2 pages per my settings.

we will have all new heads and not mid production runs, all our heads will be 100% final runs, what your seeing in the video are great but mid runs, fine tuning has gone on till the last run then massive testing went on again as we mentioned, we will also have many old heads with no coil or wick in them for people to mod themselves.

much more info is coming the next few days.

I'm not having any issues with the threads at all...just can't get the Vivi Nova to vape worth a darn. I bought it as a possible alternative to my favorite Acorn tank from Parkes, which they seem to be having issues with getting wicks for.

I like the overall build quality of the Vivi Nova, but the vape is just pathetic. Little throat hit or lung hit, very little vapor production even at higher voltages. To say that I'm disappointed in it after all the hype is an understatement.

I have not (yet) read through the preceding 66 pages on this, but plan to do so as soon as time allows. Can anyone tell me how to get a decent vape out of this thing. I really want to like it, but it keeps leaving me unimpressed. The term "wimpy" comes to mind every time I use it. What is the "mod" that Badkolo speaks of?

Does anyone actually test these things before they start hyping them up to the public? If so, I'd have to say you guys need new test subjects.

Well, it sort of depends on what's going on, exactly...

Some of the heads measured at much higher resistance than they were supposed to be. So it's possible you are not giving it enough voltage for the ohms.

It's also possible (though uncommon) that you have a wicking issue. Are you getting any dry hits?

My threads also seem a little small. The fit in the Provari and/or any other native 510 is loose and the tank will tilt from side to side. I use it with an 510 ego adapter because I want it to have more space between the mod and tank, and it is much better. I was concerned about the threads or connector on the Provari getting damaged by the loose ViVi and the projection of the connector on the bottom of the ViVi. The adapter takes care of all those problems.

I noticed the same thing with my iPro. Very sloppy when threading the vivi on. I didn't want to strip the head so I'm using a 510 to 510 adapter just in case.

Will the old heads that you'll have for modding work on the new and improved Vivi's or will you need to have the original setup for those?

I apologize in advance if this has already been addressed and I've overlooked it.

Thanks!

Saw someone saying the video made it look like the new heads come with a modified tank..does this mean we need to buy a new tank for the new head? or will they work for us first runners?
