RDA vertex v2 (authentic) builds

So I just got my vertex v2 from viper vapes in the mail. I'm liking the build quality, airflow and all, but for the few builds I've done on it, it doesn't seem to be pushing the flavor I was expecting. I'm using builds that have worked fantastic on my plume veil 1.5, I've tried a macro and a micro, both with 7 wraps both with 26g wire. And it's really not cutting the mustard as of yet.

So my question is: to anyone out there with a vertex v2, what kind of coils are you using? I've seen several places online that the flavor is suppose to be one of the best parts of this rda. I know that there's a learning curve and plenty of fine tuning to be done with any new rda, so I figured some guidance here would be a good first step! I'm using a sigelei 100+ and an authentic nemesis for my mod.

I just got my Vertex 2 (clonelol) and put a single 1 ohm blue screwdriver micro 28g in there. Flavour seems pretty excellent to me at 50 watts.

That's interesting. I actually ended up taking it to my b&m and asking for some help. After a couple builds not being any better than what I've been doing we came to a dual 8 wrap 24 gauge at .3. I'm not positive what screwdriver he used but it's between 3 and 3.5mm. So it's macro. It works really well but the watts have to be HIGH. Like 70-75. That seems like nearly the exact opposite of what you're running lol. But im definitely going to give your coil a try. I'll be back with my results. Thanks for the input I thought this thread was gonna go unaddressed :)

My results were less than stellar lol.

I did a single 28 gauge 8 wrap 2.5mm micro that came to 1.1. I ramped up the watts to put out everything from 3.7 to 7.5 volts in .2 volt increments. 7.5 volts is what your suggested 50 watts ended up at. It actually did better than I was expecting but it's still not what I was looking for unfortunately :/ 50 watts was, in my opinion, super hot. Possibly a difference between the clone and the authentic?
