Please don't roll your eyes when I say that I don't have a smoking habit. I don't do analogs anymore because of the particulate, but when I did smoke, I enjoyed to smoke casually, on certain occasions, and I didn't ever smoke a whole pack. This is the place I see vaping would fit into my life. If I use an e-cig like that, will I have problems with maintenance, or performance? Most of the advice I see where is oriented toward helping people let go of analogs, and I'm all for that, and seems to suggest that most people who do it do it every day, and a lot. Would it be a problem if I used my e-cig, then put it away for a few days, then took it out, used it a little more...put it away for a few days....? And as long as I'm asking, does anyone have a suggestion on what kind of device might be best for that kind of use?

Thanks

Fanny

The only problem I ran into was with my m401's after they had been sitting for awhile. I use vg based liquid and it seemed to goo up my atty's after sitting. As far as remedying that I just blew them out, soaked in rubbing alcohol, blew them out, soaked in very hot water, blew them out, added a few drops of liquid and puffed away like crazy. Took me a couple hours, but it worked for me.

okay, this is what I was wondering about. So I have to clean it really well when I am done.

simple daily maintence is pretty easy, and makes your stuff last longer i. e. blowing out your attys and wiping away excess liquid,
I also recommend weekly to biweekly cleanings, soaking your attys and battery bottoms in 151, vodka, viniger etc. overnight blow dry, or oven.

Judging form what you say your usage is, i would say disposables would probally work best for you

Actually I was going to start with one of those. Got any specific recommendations on which kind, or what company to buy from?
EastMall has them (find them in the Supplier's Forum) Throw-Away e-Cig 1 Pack - e-Cigs Throw-Away e-Cig - Eastmall International Co.,Ltd. $9.95 usd. They also have them in a 5 pack. $49.00 usd

Nifty little cardboard case that looks like a flat cig. pack. 4 cartridges in a sealed blister pack so they won't dry out or leak, atomizer and battery that is precharged. Also great to have on hand for an emergency when an atty or battery craps out on your regular unit.

I've got mine stashed away for a just in case moment (which will be in the year 2012 the way I've loaded up on parts for everything I have, lol).
