I got my ego c twist yesterday with a 2.5 ikv atty to try different flavors. The jucies I got are horrible and when I try and clean the atty to get the taste off it its still there. Won't go away! This is my second lot of juice batches that I have tried and I haven't liked any of them! Really wish it could be simpler.

You can get the flavor out if you boil the atomizers and blow them out good. Let them dry, or soak them in Everclear and blow them out good. They seem to dry faster with using Everclear due to the alcohol. It took me a couple of months to find juices I really enjoyed even more than analogs. That is the hardest part to vaping is finding flavors you like. Also, most of us think we want something that tastes like tobacco, but don't let that thought limit you from trying maybe a small fruit or sweet sample of juice because more often than not, we all tend to turn to those flavors instead. Some still love tobaccos, but most seem to love fruit or sweets more. Best of luck and don't quit trying juices til you find what makes you happy. Another thing, I'm not sure how popular they are in England but if you could find a local vape meet group in your area they are great because you have more opportunity to try alot of different flavors out from other people.

My suggestion is to take the atty off, blow out any juice that you can and then top if off with another flavor. You'll just have to vape through the other flavor until the new flavor settles in. Some juices like menthol, cinnamon etc often need a dedicated atty because the flavors are very strong and any juice you put in it on top of it will often have a lingering flavor of the stronger juice.

If your like me your taste is maybe dead for now. Dont order large bottle of anything for now. ECBLEND has 5ml samples at a fair price plus coupon code discount. 53 days ago I ordered maybe 25 samples of 50% pg 50% vg ,mistake. I THOUGHT the juice was bad...no taste. Tried a couple other american venders.....same thing, no taste. Then i figured out it wasnt the juice it was me. But I wasnt smoking and i was going to make this work. I was happy with all the juice vendors but ecblend gave me more options, so i placed another order, only this time i changed not only the pg, vg %....90/10 , 80/20, 70/30 but also I added extra flavor . For example...peach tobbaco, extra flavor with menthol...that worked. I read somewhere on ECF that menthol is like salt and I ordered straight menthol and menthol extra flavor(very strong} ,and added this menthol to all the flavors and now they wernt half bad. hope that helps.

Okay so I brought my first lots of juices from vape escape and only kinda liked the cookies and the banoffee cream one. The energy cow one I got is 24mg so is to strong and the other 2 are horrible! I've tried 3/4 of my new ones from LF and thought I might like the maple waffle one but one just tasted like the RY8 that I tasted and was nasty. What I'm thinking is just to buy loads of cartomizers and put ut the juices in there on their own before I chuck them just incase it is the atty. Got a V2 tank waiting to be filled!

The only hard part I have with giving friends across the pond advice is where exactly they prefer to buy juice. My understanding is buying juice from the states can be very very expensive considering shipping and handling.

It does sound as if you may just need to give your atty a nice good cleaning to get the flavor ou. The boil method is good. Be very careful with the highpin/burning method. I actually killed a few attys doing that method not really knowing what I was doing or when to stop.

Attys are notorious for randomly dying. They are one of those things you should have a back up of if you plan to use. At least 3.

Sounds like you may like a coffee and cream, cupcake, maybe buttercream flavors. Maybe a snickerdoodle cookie flavor! sweet-vapes make a well known great one. Kickbassvapor is 50-50 and hard as hell to actually order from sometimes, but I did love their buttercream frosting and "fruit stripe gum" They have a lot of bakery flavors. I've heard mrs.T's baskery is the mecca of sweet bakery juices though however i have not tried them myself to verify.

If you're not ready to DIY, it's still good to have DIY supplies on hand. VG, PG, extra bottles, to fiddle with juices. Such as that redbull. Perhaps adding some VG to it could potentially soften it enough so it's enjoyable. However you want an empty bottle to try it in a smaller batch before possibly ruining all of the juice.

Thing is in the UK we don't have shops we can go into and don't have what you call “vape meets” wish we did though. Am slightly running out of patients with the whole thing!

If you need more ideas on vendors, maybe the UK sub forum could be of more help? Most of us in the US don't have a lot of brick and mortar places either. The right juice can without a doubt be the hardest part. Hang in there. Maybe spend some time in the juice review section? That may help you get an idea on flavors you think you'll like before you buy.

Oooooh and it appears you do have a vape meet on the way August 25th!

I've only been vaping for about 6 months, but I've gone through 6 vendors and so many different flavors I can't even count them all. I've ended up giving them all away to friends. Everyone's taste is definitely different, as those same friends have sworn by a flavor or a place and I've hated the offerings.
The place I've finally had luck with is Highbrow Vapor
Their juice is awesome and customizable...not just in the PG/VG sense, but you can customize the actual juice too.
Check them out!

it can be simpler-- some juices are so strong you wont get the taste out of them- i threw away an atty because of that. try zeecig or johnson creek juice- i have more info on my website smokenjoey.com or my you tube channel "thesmokenjoey"- take a look at my favorite ecigs-- dont get discouraged- once you find one you like you'll never go back to real cigs- trust me

flavors are very subjective- you may not like what your neighbor likes- that is the problem- you have to experiment youself with sample packs- but once you find your flavor you'll never go back

From your description, it sounds like the atty is "OK" and it's the juices - but just in case it isn't, have you prepped and "dry burned" the atty/cartomizer at all? Atties (whether attached to a tank, or as an individual piece of equipment) generally have a lot of industrial goop that keeps them protected till use. So hold a tissue to one one of the atty, cover the other end with a bit of tissue and then blow hard. repeat on the other end. Otherwise they may need to be dry burned - i.e. screwed onto battery, then hold the battery button on for 2-3 seconds. Do that a few times till you see the coils glow. If you have an auto battery...well....do a few good pulls on the atty" but do NOT inhale it, just blow it right out your mouth again, to clear the goop. Btw, there have also been some notoriously nasty Boge cartos that hit the market recently so you might want to stay away from those till it all gets sorted out.
