Well, this is interesting. Both my auto and manual X2 batts from SI will screw directly on the T3 from Stormy's. Neither will screw on the T3 from iVAPE and either T3 will screw on a standard eGo. Go figure

From what I was told by the vendor at Good Prophets, the Kanger battery has a slightly different thread than an Ego; Kanger makes T2's for both the Ego and their own battery and I would think that is also true for the T3's. He told me that you need to buy T2's that are stated as 'Ego' to be sure you get the Ego threading.
Ok, I stand corrected on a couple of my original observations. The iVAPE T3 center posts were protruding slightly lower than the SVC T3 and not allowing the Volt cone threads to engage. A little nudge on the center post with some needle nose and problem solved. The T3 won't completely seat on the Volt X2 batts by about 1/32" but the gap is so small it's inconsequential.
So, to summarize my T3 experience thus far:
No adapter is needed to use your Volt X2 batts on an eGo threaded T3
Volt X2 cone threads=eGo threads
Both auto and manual Volt X2 batts work very well with the T3
The slightly higher (.4V) voltage of the X2 batts provides a superb vape
Still no leaks, dry hits or burning from my week old T3
The T3 is definitely my go-to rig from now on. Easy fill, easy clean, great flavor and fog. What more could I ask??
so glad to find this thread i had ordered some t3's and then saw people saying the x2 bats would need an adapter even though its ego threaded. thanks guys
My T3 don't sit fully on neither battery, I have both a Twist and a Vision Spinner. There's a gap of approx 1,5 mm and that makes me wonder, if that's the problem I've been having with posts lately
I have three Twists and they work on two of them. I got one from an unauthorized vendor so it's likely a knock off. The other two are genuine eGo purchased in a kit together and only one of them works. I've ordered a 510-to-eGo adapter to see if that helps.
I tried the T3 on my SI batteries, and it would only screw onto the two auto X2's, but wouldn't even attach to the Manuals at all. So instead of forcing it, I have two Smoketech Minis that are 3.7v regulated and just use the T3 on those.
I do love the T3, it is amazing and the one I seem to pick up all the time! I am awaiting a shipment from a co-op for five more and replacement heads. From the comments I have read these things have a fantastic life span so I should be good to go for a while!
FYI the kanger T2 and T3 only have threading on the skirt,so fitting to some devices may be difficult
i've tried the T2 and T3 ,,i prefer the T2 a lot more,,flavor more decreased in the T2 like it did in the T3,and the T3 did start gurgling after about 5th tank
