Is that all there is?

Do not really understand you question. And yes, it is considered GRAS. Have its use about everywhere, from soap to food to drinks. But for vaping we want even cleaner glycerin, pharmaceutical grade.

It is Generally Recognized As Safe, for consumption. FDA has not done extensive research on inhalation of the aerosols but we would have certainly seen any problems by now.

Welcome and glad you joined. You can purchase VG made from many plants and purity grades. The US FDA has lost much of it credibility (along with other aspects of our government) in the last decade ...sad.

Thanks for your responses. I was trying to find out, how FDA regards major components in e-liquids. found PG and of course Nicotine. Could not find anything specifically on Vegetable glycerine.
