the darwin looks awesome, regulates everything for ya, but that arm throws it off, if they still made em i would buy one but they no longer make them. they do look sick though

the arm is the best part lol...so cool...I'd prolly break it off within 2 days but who cares...the thing pivots in order to give me the most comfortable hit I can dream up.. just that idea is worth the $250... Here, smoke this device you've attached to me, I will divulge to you its innermost secrets and intimate workings ...lol, I love that! Anyway I think you can still get one, they're out o' stock now but I think I saw them in stock like a month ago....idk if I had 1k to burn I'd pick one up if I could for sure, they're the cadillac deville of PV's imo. Everyone wants one but no one will admit it anymore...

So far im thinkin a Evic, Bolt, iTaste MVP, Lambo v2, any other awesome vv deviecs i should consider?
Up to this point the eVic has the longest lasting battery at 2,600 mAh ... on standby and continuous use 18 hours plus.

In fact they will be releasing a 3,400 mAh battery shortly, and you can pretty much expect 2 - 12 hour days out of it before recharging.

i was just at my local vape shop to look around and the owner was there, he said that the bolt has flimsy wiring and that the silver bullet would be my better choice, i feel ya on the evic as thats what my wife calls it a digtial dildo lol, they have this one called the tidus or something like that, for 79 dollars it is vv,vw, all sorts of things with a 18650 batt, there supposed to upsale thing but he said the pricey ones are just brands that made a name for themselves and that some of the affordable ones are alot better

I'm being gifted one because it is the 4th under-warranty swap and he moved on to a provape. From what he said Darwin CS was always nice and got it resolved quickly, but he had 2 swing-arm switches fail and 1 lcd/button go crazy. (This one works still but it hasn't been used much.)

He didn't feel comfortable selling it online because of the (seemingly pretty high) chance it would die..

I know you've probably made up your mind, but my 2 cents: my buddy has a Provari and it's pretty slick (for a dildo, lmfao, that was my first thought when looking at larger tube APV's, hated em) and I have an eVic. 2 days ago he hated my eVic, couldn't get good vapor using it with his AGA-T+. Today, after firmware 1.2, it's a different story. He says vape-wise they're closer to producing the same quality and amount of vapor now. I've used both, and I gotta say, I can't tell much of a difference, but I haven't been vaping as long as my friend. I will say that the Provari and eVic are both well built, but I suspect the Provari would deal with being dropped from mouth-height better. Love the Wattage and Voltage Ramp Up/Down and Auto features. Now I get the same exact puff every time. Also, the eVic looks much better with the shorty 18350 battery tube. According to my eVic, my E-Fest 18350 800 mAh battery will give me around 100 puffs at 8 watts, and a Panasonic 18350 2200 mAh will give me around 1000!

I;m not doubting any of that or the quality of a provari, it was more a general statement - I see so many threads w/ ppl vehemently defending and promoting provape at every turn and in my experience that usually means something's a little off is all. Like for example I have an ESP guitar, in my and many others opinions its the best guitar for the $ hands down, but if someone said something bad about them I'd say ok, your loss...I wouldn't go out of my way to try and convince them it was the best cuz I already know it is and if they don't wanna listen then that sucks for them...keeps the price down for me :D. Whereas Gibson is touted as the best and defended and promoted just like the provari when the reality is their quality control is horrible and 1/10 is great while the rest are a ripoff. Just and example...again, not saying anything negative about the provari, more of a generalized observation.

:) Guitars are guitars and some are made well ... and some aren't. I learned a long time ago that the proof is in the playing. I've always played Fender and Gibson, but my favorite guitar these days is an Epiphone flame top Les Paul. I gutted it when I bought it and installed Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates pickups. After a fret leveling, it's the best playing and best sounding guitar in my arsenal.

That said, you don't have to do anything to a Provari. They just work. And, I've never had anything but top notch service and support from Provape. Never a problem at all.

BTW, the Goldtop in my avatar is a Chinese Epiphone! I took the picture the day it came in from Musician's Friend.

Oh lol I get it. There has to be something going on. I held off for a while then could not pass it up. I rotate between my mvp and the vamo.

Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 2

I bought my VAMO from Exhale Vapors last week and now it's gone from their e-shelves...

Silver Bullet without a Kick inside is worthless, I have one since I started vaping and I was getting better performance out of a eGo batts.

Now, once I 'Kicked' my Silver Bullet and added some AW IMR batts my Provari is getting less use every day. Although I use my Provari with a Genesis Style Atomizer exclusively so it's like my cigar for the evenings but the rest of the day Kicked SB (with kick sleeve) + AW IMR 18650 + Carto tanks is what I use.

Also, my Silver Bullet misfires a lot with the kick but i'm probably using too much Noalox on the threads.

Hi spc - well this is a great time to pick up some new pvs.
I'd say get the Evic - its got downloadable updates and the latest update is really good. This pv is a game changer I think, and if you want some variety then this will add it for you.

The iTaste MVP has had very good reviews. It doesn't have a removeable battery but can act like a back up power supply to charge things like your cellphone. It also looks nice and would give you a box mod. The MVP is the sort of thing you coulsd take on trips away for long lasting battery life too.

The Bolt is an almost mechanical mod - it has some wiring. I have one myself. A basic pv really. If you want a mechanical mod I'd suggest looking at a few different ones though - there are quite a few of them. The Bolt is ok, the Smoktech telescope is also a popular one and you get more size options with it. You may want to wait for reviews of the Smoktech natural, which should be around soon as people have started getting them. Its a nice looking pv.

The Vamo has been mentioned by others and is a good mod for a crazy price. Variable voltage and variable wattage, built in ohms check, battery check, and safety cut off to name some of its features. Can also be sued in two different sizes.
The Sigelei Zmax is a good sturdy variable voltage and variable wattage pv.

A bottom feeder mod would be another one you could add - like the Reos. These are said to give great flavor because they work like dripping but you don't have to drip.

You could get all those easily within your budget. I'd keep some of that budget aside too - there are some mew mods just coming out that look promising. I've written a blog post recently with an overview of some of the mods available right now and the features if you're interested too:
So You're Looking for a Mod
