VG 50% PG 50% Juice in Ego LR Carts Burnt Taste

Hi everyone,
This is Steve from Colorado. I love the FSUSA juices.





I’m using an Ego and I got an adapter so I could use 2 types of cartomizers that have a built in atty. –
Type 1 - Boge 510 2 ohm low resistance carts
Type 2 - Boge KR808D-1 2 ohm low resistance carts with an adapter

The VG 50% PG 50% juices are pretty thick, almost like syrup. Is anyone getting a burnt taste
using VG 50% PG 50% juice in low resistance 2 ohm cartomizers?



I tried both types of low resisitance cartomizers - filled them with about 20 drops of juice. Waited 10 minutes for the juice to settle in and after 3 puffs – was getting a burnt plastic taste that hurt my throat.
A fully filled cartomizer with 20 drops should last you more than 3 puffs before it starts drying out and needs a refill.


Should you only use VG 50% PG 50% juice in higher 3 ohm cartomizers?

i also use the boge lr 2.0 cartos and haven't had any problems.

However i'm not sure you are filling them fully and might be burning the filler on first puff.
My lr cartos hold a little over a ml of juice on the first fill then i top fill. good luck!

I've not used Boge cartos, but I used to use 808 2.0 cartos and had no issues using them on an Elegant (like an Ego) with no problems. I don't think 20 drops are enough. In a standard size carto., I use about 30 drops. I put in 20 to 25 drops, do a taryn spin, and then add more.

I have used the Boge 2.0 cartos and you definitely have to give them more time in between puffs ( to wick ) and top off ( keep wetter ) a lot more often.

Did you let them sit for at least 1/2 - 1 hour before using? It takes a little while for the juice to soak into filler or you will get burnt taste.
