You'd want 2.5ohm to 2.0ohm really unless you want a really hot vape. 3ohms on an ego is pitiful for heat, but 2.5 - 2.0 is where it shines. I prefer 2.0ohm on an ego. The lower your ohms the warmer the vape will be.

Main pros for lower ohms is more heat, vapour, throat hit and it might change the flavour of some juices. Cons for vg, you're going to use more juice at lower ohms and it might be a problem with wicking. If I chain vape my 2.5ohm cartos with 80% vg 20% flavouring, I'll get drier hits and have to give it a few minutes for it to feel right again but it's not a massive deal breaker.

The 1.7ohm is the resurrector? I hear good things but have never tried it. Only bad thing I've read about it is it can get pretty hot if you chain vape.

I really prefer to use CE2s with the seal cut into /\'s or with the inner seal turned upside down for VG. It doesn't wick constantly in a hot carto but if you do the quick and easy seal mod for a CE2 it's portable 1.8ml for the XL size and a much warmer, flavourful vape because the coil is at the top. Plus, no filler to taste! :D
