VG and skin irritation?

Have you tried rubbing a little (non nic VG) on the back of your arm and see if that causes a blotch, I'm no chemist but I think VG is used in all sorts of things; soap, food, cosmetics and I was under the impression it's hypoallergenic and used a carrier material for other products. I'm not a Dr. but have you changed your washing power/liquid or other cosmetic regime it might just be a coincidence.
Hope you get better and find out the cause :)
