VG and skin irritation?

I just recently started vaping liquids with some or all VG. Since then, I've been getting red blotches on my face. I didn't experience this with PG juices. Has anyone else had this happen to them, or might it be something else causing it? Thanks for any responses!

Have you tried rubbing a little (non nic VG) on the back of your arm and see if that causes a blotch, I'm no chemist but I think VG is used in all sorts of things; soap, food, cosmetics and I was under the impression it's hypoallergenic and used a carrier material for other products. I'm not a Dr. but have you changed your washing power/liquid or other cosmetic regime it might just be a coincidence.

So far I think it could be:
Reaction to PG
Reaction to VG
Reaction to flavoring brand or certain flavors
or maybe it's just the plain fact that we aren't smoking. Don't know how a person figures it out. I haven't figured it out yet, but have found 99.9% aloe helpful, but not a cure.

If I use more than 20%vg I break out in blotches and a rash like acne.Im fine with PG.

I did. I ended up only having to cut back to 50/50 as opposed to 80-90 VG. For whatever reason vapin too much VG would give me a progressive red face/rash throughout the day. I would look fine in the morning but be red and itchy by late evening.

Thanks for all your responses. It would be just my luck. I find a juice I really really like (Blended TAB VG from GoodProphets) and I have a reaction.
