VG e-juice too THICK?

I just bought some e-liquid from a couple vendors, wanted to get a 100% VG blend instead of the PG blend. What I noticed was that the VG blend tends to clog up my cartomizers. Another was that it would take a while for me to get the taste, as if it would be muted for about 5 mins then come back a little. Don't get me wrong though, the vapor production I'm getting are really good clouds, but the cost of getting a really hard draw from it sometimes. For future reference what's a good PG/VG mix? and I really don't want to throw away my cartos just yet, but I can still clean them right? I have a KR808D1 model.

Most of the liquid I use is 70%PG/30%VG. Enough VG to boost the vapor production, thin enough to use on my equipment and enough PG to retain the TH and flavor

+1 on the 70/30 blend. It gives just the right amount of cloud while still producing flavor an TH. I stay within a range of 80/20 to 70/30 on cartos, especially on the first fill. I can up the vg as I vape though, once the carto is wicking nicely but if I go more than 50%, the carto gets clogged very quickly.

thanks for the input, yeah I'll try out the 70/30 PG/VG next shipment. do you guys just toss out the clog out cartos or do you try to clean them?

It depends on the carto. I could usually get at least one cleaning out of a carto with filler. With the clearomizers I usually use, I clean them numerous times and usually get at least a couple months out of them.

Jaybearizzi Try adding 1 drop of DISTILLED water per 2ml of juice. This what I did to get my Boba's Bounty(100% VG) to wick more easily. It has no effect on flavor what so ever.

Pure VG is a great blend. Huge clouds and full flavor if mixed properly and professionally. Try alien vapor e-juice. Their products kick ... and their pure VG is thin enough for stock unpunched catro use.

I do this as well. I believe AVE recommends it if you want to thin their juice. Works great for me, no noticeable change, and I can even put it in a dct no problem.
