VG heavier on the lungs?

I recently switched to a VG based liquid, and preferred it right off the bat. The flavor was more pronounced, the vapor was better overall, and the texture was more "velvety" instead of having that "chemical bite" to it if that makes sense.

Anyway, after using VG for a while, I seem to be noticing that my chest feels a little heavier. My lungs kinda have that feeling that I used to get after a night of partying and smoking way to many cigs.

Has anyone else noticed any kind of health differences between the two bases?

While I don't know about any health differences, full VG does make my lungs feel a little heavier. I would personally continue for a while and see if your body adjusts.

When I first started vaping, my chest felt like someone was sitting on it for a week. Thankfully it passed and my lungs feel much clearer. I'm a PG man, simply because VG seems to coat my throat heavily.

I think everyone's body reacts to things differently. One of the things I noticed with the VG was the dryness went away. I can feel it in my nose a little more than the PG based stuff though, like it's almost sticky I guess. However, seems like the VG itself has a lubricating effect instead of the drying out effect. The vaping experience, as a whole, is much more enjoyable with the VG imo.

For medical reasons, I can vape only VG eliquid that has absolutely No PG at all (not even small amounts in the flavoring). I didn't know this at first and vaped PG liquid, the the side effects and medical complications were not bearable. Hence, I switched to all VG liquid.

With all VG eliquid, I had extremely dry mouth (still do at times) and Lots of phlegm, both in my throat and lungs. I hated it, and it worried me. I kept vaping. After a few months, the phlegm minimized to tolerable amounts, and it now (finally) seems to be pretty much gone.

I had the heavy chest feeling for a few months and the other side effects listed above. Now, my body seems to have adjusted, and I just vape all VG and feel fine. I do realize that how one's body reacts is personal and subjective.

However, if you want to know the outcome of over a year of vaping nothing but all VG, it's that my lungs feel clear, I breath much easier, and my tolerance for unusual exertion is much improved, but my mouth is still dry sometimes (but that could also be the allergy meds that I have to take year round). Oh, you should also know that I am a very heavy vaper so I inhale quite a bit of VG everyday.

Good luck to all of you who want to vape VG. The only problem I find with it now is a significant limitation of flavors available, at least in 100% PG free eliquid.

@deaf ear and pretty much everyone else... I have noticed when I'm vaping pure VG that on the exhale it tickles my throat really bad, almost like when you inhale a tiiiny drop of water you get that tickling sensation. It doesn't hurt or anything- just feels really strange and kind of unpleasantly strange. Anyone else experience this? It only happens about 30% of the time when I'm vaping VG.

This may fall on Deaf Ears, BUT. I really don't like vg, or my supply that I have.
for me there is less vapor and taste tinny. Just like every thing else in vaping, it depends on who what where or why and personal reaction and taste.
one other thing is, it may depend on how much and for how many years and what kind of analogs you smoked.:2c:
