VG on VV Devices.

VG as we all know, is thicker than PG, the other important compoment in juice.
Since it's thicker, do you think mostly/wholy VG solutions could usually take a little more voltage to vape 'just right'?
Imagine this in a hypothetical situation involving two exact same juces, only one is a 50/50 PG/VG, and the other is 100% VG and water.

Then they're not the two exact juices. But there's a post here somewhere about someone jamming a temperature sensor into his wick, and doing some testing. I cannot find it right now, but if you search around, maybe you'll find something relevant.

I just inadvertently switched (DIY) from 50/50 to 95pg and had to drop my watts down from 8.5 to 7.0. Course, that could've been the same-time switch from 12mg to 18mg.

50/50 is so much nicer vape tho- going to go back to it soon.

There is a very slight difference in the temperature at which PG and VG vaporizes at, so a difference in your VV mod would make sense. A few degrees difference is almost negligible, just adjusting for the best taste, heat without burning is the way to go....
