Higher VG tends to mute flavor (which sounds like that's OK with you, being a subtle-vape guy ;)). Some VGs have made me a bit queasy in the past. :( Higher VG also tends to diminish throat hit. OTOH, higher VG produces more vapor, adds a little sweetness, and may provide a silkier, fuller mouth-feel.

Since I love both flavor and TH, I usually vape at 70/30 pg/vg; that seems to give me the best of both worlds. :)

For me it really depends on the juice...but I will go with a 70/30 PG/VG if its a juice I have not tried before, as I worry it won't have enough flavor. Once I get to know a juice...I might go to 50/50, if I am confident its a flavorful enough juice to cut back on the VG just so I can enjoy some thicker clouds of vapor. So for me...it all comes down to not wanting to risk having muted flavor. Luckily, I don't have any negative reactions to PG, or find it to be harsh (at least not with the vendors I have tried), so 70/30 PG/VG has been the ideal range for me...and 50/50 in other cases when i know the flavor is strong enough
