VG users recommend some flavors/vendors?

PG is killing my throat and sinuses, I have to switch to VG.

I tried one VG bottle of 555 and I was really disappointed with the flavor. The PG flavors I like best are tobacco, MLB, cherry, vanilla, apple.

I thought I would like the 555 since I like MLB and tobacco (although they are all from diff suppliers) but the 555 just kinda sucked. I'm not sure if its because I just don't like the 555 flavor or if its the VG base.

I never tried a 555 in PG so I don't really know, but the MLB and tobacco PGs I have used have a nice sweet tobacco taste to them and the 555 just seemed kind of bland.

So - I am hoping to find some good tasting VG that I can use.

Has anyone here tried PG/VG and noticed a taste difference in flavors from one base to another? I know its probably impossible to tell since every batch is made unique, but I am just wondering if the flavorings are affected by the base.

Also, I need a good US supplier to get quality VG liquid from if anyone could recommend one.

Thanks

Check out JuicyLiquid, they have a variety of flavors and either VG or PG. I finally ordered from them today.

FWIW I just got my Johnson Creek order of 24mg Reduced PG Original, Espresso, and Tenn Cured. I am a Tenn Cured junkie. All 3 of these taste like Riskee/RY4 e.g. cotton candy, and the Reduced PG does nothing to mitigate the PG irritation to my throat.

I think everyone should have some Ecopure 'Rich' on hand, just to impress people with the vapor :) But while the flavor is subtle to many (I'd call it a bit more than that) it can tone down harsher flavors and mixes well with anything. To me, it tastes like a good RY4 lite but I put it on marlboro, newport, ry4, cappuccino without ruining the flavor of any of them. I have only low, so it's soothing as well.

Count me in, am really frustrated, the highest VG I can find (for Mixing) is 24mg right now anyway. The only reason I need to mix is because of the problems with PG, and Wes, don't feel alone. I did just fine for about 6-8 weeks, then all at once I realized I was coughing again, just like whem I smoked. Very sore throat, then some lung pains as well. Little by little it had been getting worse, so didn't think much of it. Now if I have even 30% PG I just can't stand it. So Johnson Creek out and I've been using their Original and Tennessee Cured exclusively. So trying to mimic the combination of those two flavors, Original was kind of flat after awhile, and Tenn a little too strong! I think I need one more absolute, the Virginia to mellow it more, but almost there! I've also cut nicotine by 25%, down to 18mg so another little problem, too expensive to still buy JC and put more VG in it to cut. Taste is fine though that way. But still have 2 or 3 bottles to go, then won't buy any more. I'll be making my own, if it's good or not!
Actually, the VG all by itself isn't bad, but I don't think I would be content with that 100% of the time. I like my tobacco! If you've never smelled Tobacco Absolute you should get a little. 2ml was $9. It really is awesome. Reminds me of my Grampa's pipe when I was little. Yes, I've been just sniffing it!!
PG user's can buy 48mg/ml unflavored, but no one has VG over 24mg. I just don't know why, just not enough people need it, maybe. Unsold on the shelf I guess whouldn't be smart business....

Haven't looked into being an 'ecopure trading partner' but may:

Intellicig

Innovapor now has 'max'? at 30mg...
I have not heard of this before. If I'm figuring right, it would cost about $6 for 30ml of 18mg/ml. That's a guess, with VAT and shipping $200 for 500ml + mix?? THANK YOU! Am going to do some more study on it, but will for sure try a small one first. Gonna sleep on that! Shopping is good!
[edit]My numbers are about right. Them doggone Brits been keeping this a secret or what!?
The thing I said about Chinese is also about right, I think.

To the OP: Ecopure is the only liquid that hasn't made me feel crappy. That sounds like weak praise, but I really like their "Rich" flavor. The "Regular" is OK too. And as someone mentioned, they now make a super-high-mg VG mixing liquid. The supplier is Intellicig.com.

Also, check out this site I just found:
Decadent Vapours for Discerning Vapers
Peter carries VG liquids in wild flavors like Tequila, Absinthe, White Chocolate, Blackcurrant, Attar of Rose, etc.!
I know his name because I emailed him with a question and he got straight back to me. Excellent, helpful customer service.
Also, he said he sources his VG liquid in the UK, and his flavorings from within the EU. I'm looking forward very much to trying these yummy-sounding flavors!

Finally, I must voice my $.02 on Johnsons Creek: Don't.

Hope this helps :)

Vermont Vapor should be stocked again soon (I hope).
Also Ecopure from Innovapor or Cignot in the states.
They are very subdued flavors and you need a few days to really appreciate them in my opinion.

anyone know what is actually going on with vermont vapor? i've been following them for days and sent 2 emails for an eta on the liquid. i havent heard anything back yet and still no liquid :(

SevenChaun, We been having discussions with folks who are not having a hard time with some troubling effects from VG, so this may well be an answer. If not PG, and VG doesn't work well either, is very discouraging.
Safe to say we all want verifiably safe!

They were supposed to be restocked by the end of last week. I'm not sure, I keep watching this thread -Vermont Vapor Now Has E-Liquid! - and refreshing their website.

I just ordered a 5 pack of various flavors of the 30 mg Ecopure from InnoVapor. No questions the flavors are mild compared to others like RY4 and normal tobacco, not to mention Tennessee Cured from JC... But they make tons of vapor and are very smooth. Right now I am using two 510's, one with Ecopure Rich and the other with either RY4 or JC Tennessee Cured. That seems to work best for me...
