VG vs PG and the prodigy

What are your experiences vaping VG with the prodigy? In my case, it vaporizes my VG liquids way too hot, and they taste ultra-corn syrupy and the vapor is honestly too thick! It's like I'm smoking an entire meal! I used to not like the taste of PG liquids, but they taste delicious, and flavorful in the prodigy, so I guess my days of vaping vg are done.

Edit: Oh, and because of this, I decided to order some Cash juice while it's back. Got the Energee, Riskee, and the Menthol. These juices taste amazing!

I retired my straight PGs and took to adding VG some time back looking for both sweetness and increased vapor. I got the vapor increase, but never any sweetness. I do get some now with the PDV1 at 5V, but not overwhelming. I think maybe those tastebuds aren't very sensitive for me. So may depend upon where you're starting from.

Momof3: I get the sweetness alright, and Vapor enough to fill the entire room vaping VG with my prodigy. Trouble is, the sweetness is very corn-syrupy tasting and overpowers whatever flavor I'm supposed to be vaping, and I get so much vapor, and it's really thick, it honestly feels like I'm eating, not smoking! The PG liquids now taste exactly like the flavor it's supposed to be, and I get enough vapor from them to satisfy my cravings.

I switched to VG because I thought pg was giving me hypersensitive teeth, but I've concluded I get hyper sensitive teeth from other things like energy drinks. Brushing with Sensodyne toothpaste has rid me of my teeth problems.

This was my WORST symptom from the PG. I know a few others who had it too. It was awful and excrutiating. I am also allergic to PG so I use VG now....

VG in the prodigy gives good flavor but yes... it is a FULL flavor. I like it. But have no choice as I can't vape PG.

If you don't like the sweetness of standard VG, you may want to try ECOpure "Fresh." It's VG and it has no flavor whatsoever in the devices I've used it with (510, 801 and 4081.) If it has any flavor at all, I can't taste it. Assuming the Prodigy doesn't bring out flavor that I can't detect on my other hardware, the Fresh ECOpure might be a good option for a DIY VG fluid base.

I never went over 1/2 VG. Anything over 1/3 seemed to irritate my throat and taste funny also didn't give me the sweetness I was craving, so I stuck with 1/4 to 1/3 when I added VG just for the increased vapor. Luckily I never had any notable reactions to PG.

Much to Steve's dismay, I'm only using the 5V part of the time with my 801s (so not getting PDs full potential all the time) and having to cut my liquid an extra third with PG. Rest of the time I'm using my regular mixes on the 901 at the lower voltage. With adding more PG even if the 5V increases my actual liquid consumption it's all a wash in the end.

I've got over 1000ml backlog to go through so I'm waiting patiently for PS new liquid line to debut before I order more.

I'm finding now that straight PG liquids are not giving me sensitive teeth and taste pretty good. My three VG bottles from Johnsons creek, Artic Mint, Peach Cobbler, and Tennesse Cured tobacco, are about 3 weeks old now, and don't taste good at all at 5v, though they taste fine at 3.7 volts. I also experimented cutting some pg liquid with some plain VG, and it made it taste gross, and also gave me sore teeth. My conclusion, unless you're very allergic to PG, VG + Prodigy = Not a good combo.
