Not sure. I have seen a Vgo by Kanger that is KR808D-1 based yet I thought others have mentioned Vgos that were 510-based

The only one I have seen in a shop is KR808D-1 compatible
more about it here

So it would need an 808 to 510 adapter to use a 510-threaded atty (Ego etc) but should be able to use a DSE901 atty w/ no adapter

What do you currently use on the Vgo - that should give you a clue. And if you don't own it, don't buy anything if you don't know what threading it is.

Also, could you tell me what the purpose of a LR atty is? While most HV mods require reg atty's and all LV batts can use a reg mod. What is the point of a LR atty, and why would they come with the Provari, while they don't work with any other HV batt? Are LR atty's just there to save batt life, for LV batts?

Yes Egos are the ORIGINAL 510-threaded model of that style - all of the others are clones including Vgo

slim cig of 3.7v or under - can only use standard res attys

fat cig of 2.7 or under (Ego, Vgo, etc) - can use standard or for hotter hits use LR

HV cig (HIGH VOLTAGE - like 5 or 6v) - uses HV attys as its standard ones, and standard attys as its LR ones - a standard atty's resistance is effectively a low resistance for a high voltage battery

I guess Provari likes to teach people a lesson - I have heard of people cranking the atty up and popping it immediately

What slim cig batt has a higher voltage then a fatter batt like the vgo or ego? My Vgo is 900 maH, 3.3-4.2 v and w/ 510 threading, can I put an Ego-t reg atty on it? or should I use a Ego-t LR atty? (Still don't understand the purpose of LR atty's, just more TH?). All I want to do is try the tank tip on it, and I have read I need a Ego-t atty to use the "tank" tips you can fill. Thanks for all your expertice, i'ts really helpful!

I'm not all that familiar with the vgo. You might have to get a battery extension to the the tank attys to work which will look kind of strange but, it'll probably work with just the atty. I personally prefer the LR attys with the tank but, that's a personal preference. You'll use more juice and the attys won't last as long with the LR attys.
