Sweet, keep us posted on your progress. Might want to check out the version 2 option in my newer post, with mini-USB connector. That one is a little more complicated. If you just need something basic to plug in and you dont mind it not being removable from the ecig, this one will do fine.
Thanks for posting this, it’s awesome! Just a note I’d like to add: don’t be cheap and buy the usb cable from the dollar store...
not only did it not work at the end of the day, but the black wire was POSITIVE and the red (or really pink) wire was negative, the other two wires were lovely shades of purple and teal in case you were wondering. So I used a nice gold connector insulated usb cable instead, works very nice! Since I was afraid to try this in my laptop, I just used that ipod wall charger (with a female end to plug in the usb cable) and now I’m set. Thanks again, bastage!

Have you changed the video as i can only hear the guitar and though it's really nice playing i don't know why i'm only hearing it and not what you are saying?
This is a great idea and a must for me even if i have to get someone to make one for me.

I think I mentioned this in the original post, but the video turned out to be too long, so I cut it to show only a video explanation to save time.
Thanks Cash....Works great! Creates far more vapor than the battery and seems to me to give a better throat hit. Just wish it was portable.
Hmmmm....Maybe I can mount that solar charger to a helmet....Better yet the two can of beer helmet....Throw in a portable urinal and....

Couldn't resist since I had 1 battery DOA from my starter kit.
I used a switch from an old cd rom drive that had metal wings on the side. I soldered them right to the case for a solid mount.

If I can do it anyone can.

I may be able to get someone to put something like that together for me now. You have used the same technique as the video have you? It's the switch that has getting me puzzled but i have found a guy who can do this sort of thing. (He can see without glasses and his hands don't shake)

Actually i've changed it out once again and used the original battery with the switch. The hole you can see was for running wires externaly but it turned out I didn't need to.
The light no longer works but when the vapor runs low it's time to charge the battery.
The charger still works but you have to have the switch depressed while charging. I found a metal clip of somekind in my toolbox that fits perfectly
over the switch. The charger light will still turn green when charged.
The vapor from this set up is even better than a brand new auto switch.
I'll never go back to auto again.
Now it seems I have no reason to order the Kissbox I wanted as long as I want to put up with ugly betty here That's completly lost me now. Are you vaping directly from the charger attached to the mains ?
