I'm gonna moan about my new Wismec piece of crap device! Don't buy wismec garbage! RX gen3 wont fire after 32 days! Also got hot at just 15 watts before this started happening. I'm a poor music teacher who can't afford to buy another mod right before xmass. Thanks Wismec!
Yeah i don't personally really like em either, my first and only experience is with their predator which in about the same lenght of time did the same lolz. Same thing heated and all before and jumped my 0hms. Turns out got back to my vape shop and they checked it to confirm it was defective  Thanks wismec i really liked that mod still but no way i'm taking 2nd chances.

Some folks get good ones and swear by them. Others get, well, crap as you put it. I bought a Predator. I liked the design so much I bought another. In 60 days they were both landfill. I call them WizBang mods. Look like pure wizardry new and go bang in a hurry. I have since become a little more savvy with picking mods. I have a .... ugly Lost Vape Drone that is a simply wonderful vape. Beauty can be only skin deep.

I hope you get it working, although it will be cheaper to make the solder repair yourself thn paying someone else to do it. Also I suggest that for your next mod, save up and buy something with a DNA board in it. They are more expensive but are very good quality. I personally use the HCigar VT75D with the DNA 75C board and love it. Good, small (for a dual battery) solid device, that seems like it will be around for a while.

Waleed you are so right! I liked the damned thing cause it takes 25 ml tanks, and for the extra batterie life. And looked good too. But it is now a doorstop in the bathroom
OMG, that is hilarious! Glad you found a use for it! I was able to use one screw in one to fix another mod's 510. Pretty expensive screw. Pun intended.

I went to the store with my buddy the other day because he needed a new mod to replace his alien (that's actually still alive but old). His choice came down to 2 mods, the Wismec RX Gen 3 or the Vaporesso Revenger. After hearing this I'm so glad I was the one who convinced him to get the Revenger instead.

I really like the 75D. Not widely publicized. I'm finding a lot of the best mods aren't pushed much. I guess it's kinda like everything else. I always watch the ads on TV to know what not to buy. If the product were flying off the shelves because it is so great it would not be on the God Box.

I agree. I'll take quality, reliability, and longevity over looks every single time. I also don't mind paying a bit more for said quality either (within reason of course).

A little cheaper than a Evolv DNA board would be one powered by a Yihi board, Chinese made yes, thus a bit cheaper price wise, but great similar quality, where a DNA can be considered a Cadillac, a Yihi powered device is quite similar to a Lexus. Sigelei used to use re-configured Yihi chips, where Pioneer4U exclusively used to use them, think any mod shipped by Asmodus has a high chance of a Yihi board in it. There are many more choices out there beside Smok, Wismec/Joyetech, Kanger, and few others that most rave about. Rule one of being a consumer, research your future purchases thoroughly before purchase, not fall for the hype, especially with Vaping Equipment, and especially not if ole' RipTrippers fully endoreses it (JMHO).

Dunno if you've ever watched "The Wire." I think it the finest television show ever made, and one of its best lines is something like: "Man says this is the Cadillac. He mean Lexus, but he ain know it."

I personally prefer to watch DJLsb and PBusardo, not so much for their opinions but more due to how they put devices on an oscilloscope to show how they really work and how accurate they really are. It's surprising just how inaccurate many devices are.
