i wanted to post this in e-liquid review but i cant since i do not have enough post yet. i placed my order with vv on the 11th of this month around 7 am. for 2 7 ml 50/50 pg vg blends with 12 mg of nic. hot buttered rum and banana foster. this was the first time i order from an e juice vendor online. i normally get high caliber cinna bun e juice from my local vape shop. i have been hooked on this juice for about a month. so i waited impatiently checking the order status vv provided for me. finally it arrived on the 18th this past Tuesday. before i go any further let me just say i did tons of research and read alot of reviews on this forum and also watched a good amount on you tube reviews before i finally chose them. anyways. i got my package and brought it home. wanting the best experience i cleaned my tank witch is a knock off of the mini pro tank 2 or at least what it looks like to me. changed my wick filled my tank with the banana fosters let it sit for about ten minutes. the smell i got from opening the bottle was like a strong perfume/ chemical smell. after ten minutes or so passed i grabbed my tank and threw it on my evic. my ato is 1.8 ohms. so i set it to 3.1 volts and take a nice drag..8-o it tasted like burnt rubber/ melting plastic.. knowing my tanks made of Pyrex, i thought maybe my wick needed more time to soak up the juice. so i let it sit another ten minutes. same horrid taste again. i instantly emailed vv. explaining the situation and asked if the juice was safe to even vape. cleaned my tank threw out the brand new wick i just put in and went on to the cina bun. later on that night i checked my email and saw that customer service actually emailed me back 10-15 minutes after i had sent my email. she said it was probably a hardware issue. i explained to her my set up and that i knew it wasn't that. we exchanged 6 emails yesterday. she said that this has happened once before that they knew of. the rubber stopper in the bottle got hot during shipping and scented the e juice. she asked what i smelled when opening the bottles i explained. she asked for the batch number of each and said she would check, and then asked me to leave the caps off the juice for 24 hours to steep. i did and went to work. but i couldn't help thinking that it still wasn't fair. im a noob and no nothing about steeping and what it does i have never had to or wanted to do this before. i wasted 90% of my juice from letting friends try it to make sure i wasn't crazy and dumping it of my tank ect. so i emailed that to her saying that if they knew there juice needs time to steep than they should send a note with there juice or post it on there website so people like my self don't waste there juice or throw it away. because even if the steeping does improve the flavor i wont really have any left to enjoy. im not upset at the customer service so far they have been helpful and understanding. im just upset that i got all hyped up for some juice that i cant even enjoy.. hopefully the juice does get better and i feel like they should resend my order.. sorry i wrote a book just needed to get that out. thanks to who ever actually made it to the end lol

Not everyone likes Virgin Vapor. Some people absolutely love it, others hate it. I've only had two flavors, banana fosters not being one of them. I've never tasted any plastic or chemical taste in mine (butter cream mint and vanilla blackberry swirl) but some people do report the plastic taste to them. I'd do like they said, let it air out for 24 hours. They use alcohol based natural flavors so leaving it open gets the weird alcohol flavor out.

However, you may never like it. It isn't really their fault, it is just juice you don't like. I have about 3 bottles of juice just sitting from multiple companies that I hate, but of course can't return. =/

i understand that with all of the juices out there i will prob end up only liking 10% of them. but this juice was just simply unvapeable. i have tried quite a few different juices from my vape shop and not liked them but at least i could still vape them. i hope this steeping works. i just want to actually be able to taste the flavor not this weird plastic stuff. i was looking at vapor chef and reading about him, have you had any experience with them? im going for 50/50 blend and like dark sweeter vapes but i am willing to explore my pallet. have any suggestions?

I haven't tried Vapor Chef yet, I'm tempted to since I hear that they have pretty natural tasting flavors.

If you want to try some new stuff with lots of flavor, Mt Baker Vapor has the option of flavor shots (read reviews on the flavor though, some are strong as is) and a ton of variety. You can also get 50/50. I've ordered from them and their stuff is at least all vapable. I've yet to get one that is just all out nasty.

You can also check out the E-liquid Discussion or E-liquid Reviews part of the forum too.

For more on the topic of Virgin Vapor though, heres a recent topic where people had the same issue as you.

I had a similar experience with VV and have searched and researched after such a struggle. I think I finally found one I will like....Vape Dudes! I ordered 7 flavors because by now and having wasted three bottles (basically eating it because the Kanger I ordered was defective) but anyway I am now starving for flavors galore! Sheesh! Thank God for this forum!!!! Vape On Brother! Ahlusion had great flavors but bit pricey!

For what it's worth, I had the same experience with Virgin Vapors - I bought Dark Side of the Moon and it was so perfumey it literally gave me a headache, and I'm not prone to them at all. I bought it right before we went to a club and opened it outside and dripped it and just could not handle it. I tried my best to vape it out of my dripper but it wouldn't go away and we wound up leaving early because my head hurt so bad. I left it open for almost a week and could still smell it from across the room. I made the mistake of spilling half of it on my keyboard while moving the bottle - it was horrible, but went away in a couple of days (thank god). Then I put it in my ultrasonic cleaner for several hours, open, but it still was not vapable. I posted here with the batch number but was just told maybe I'm sensitive to the alcohol. Which is funny because I'm not sensitive to ANYTHING - no allergies, no sensitivities, and I'm 43 so I should know by now if I'm some delicate flower, which I'm not.

We also have Kona Coffee Milkshake and Organic White Cherry Crush. Those are not as perfumey, but they both have kind of a "musty" scent to them and I don't vape them.

I really really wanted to like them because I love the idea behind them, but I just cannot vape any of their stuff that I've tried and won't ever risk buying another bottle of anything from them. :( The Dark Side of the Moon eventually got dumped down the sink. We have around 100 bottles of juice from many different vendors and this is the only brand I've had this much trouble with.

I guess some people really like them. Wish I could say the same!
