So I received my second order from Annette at Virgin Vapor on Saturday. My first order was Organic Bed of Roses 80/20 PG/VG, extra flavor. That one was very tasty: sweet, smooth, and pleasingly floral. Perfect for blending with some vanilla. But I was getting a touch low, so I thought I would try some other of her flavors.
The Night-blooming Jasmine is probably her most expensive flavor and I would like to try it some time, but I decided to go with Strawberry Shortcake and Black Cherry Marshmallow, 50/50 PG/VG. For both I chose lower nicotine, as I am hoping to back off of the nic. Both liquids smell absolutely delicious! I think the Strawberry Shortcake is my favorite so far. Very fresh, real strawberry flavor, not so much of the cake (I could always add a little vanilla and non-diacetyl butter flavoring of my own, but scared to ruin the liquid!)
The Black Cherry Marshmallow is tasty too. It doesn't have a fake (read: cough syrup) taste, it's very authentic. Unlike the cherry cartos from the mall kiosk which quickly get a chewable vitamin-like taste. The marshmallow could be a bit more pronounced in my opinion but perhaps it's overpowered by the cherry. Annette very kindly assented to my request for a sample of her honeysuckle liquid, I believe not currently for sale. It came along with my order in a tiny, cute glass bottle. The honeysuckle liquid has a musky smell to it, but it vapes nice. Like honey, floral, and musk. Virgin Vapor has been very good so far, responsive customer service, good shipping time, and a great product.
Also, a shout-out for azsmokefree: I ordered, among other things, a pack of RY4 cartos to see what all the fuss is about. The vendor was kind enough to include a sample bottle of RY4 by 'Signature Blend.' Unlike what I've read about pre-filled cartos being gross, these were simply divine. Strong honey, some maple, and slight tobacco was the flavor I got. Very sweet and delicious. The cartomizer lasted a good while before I needed to refill. I will say that the sample bottle's flavor wasn't as good and pronounced as the carto, though. It had a stronger smoke flavor and less honey, so I jazzed it up with a few drops of maple and butter flavor. Very nice, and azsmokefree has very quick shipping, and gave me a cool ballpoint pen with an LED flashlight on it. It's nice to see vendors treat customers so well!
