Hi guys, unlucky me here again!

I've now got a genuine ProTank with 1.8ohm atties connected to a 650mah Joeyetech ego-cc batt.

I've recently bought some Virgin Vapors Sweet Vanilla Chai Latte 100% VG liquid and I've found after a few days the draw is tighter an sometimes when I fully tighten the tank together (after a refill for example) I press the button but no vapor and no fizzing sound to indicate the attie is burnin liquid.

A quick clean of the threads usually sorts it but I'm a bit bothered because I bought this liquid due to its claims of not clogging, despite the 100% VG content. I like the flavour but have had to switch back to the PG/VG Blueberry crap I bought roun the corner because although it rates cheap, it seems to be more consistent.

Do I perhaps need a higher ohm of attie? Anyone else found this?

Thanks forum, you're the best!

ok I can take a guess what is going on here since I use higher VG juices. 100% VG juice is VERY thick and probably is not wicking into the head very well. Things you can try:

1. Take a couple of primer puffs without hitting the fire button. Short sharp draws with no power. Then vape. The idea being force the liquid into the head.

2. Thin your liquid a bit with a couple of DROPS of distilled water.

3. This one is risky: Pull the post off the head and remove ONE of the flavor wicks lying on top of the coil. Put the post back on and assemble the atty as normal. The idea here is to make the opening the juice enters larger. This one is risky because it does create leaking for some people.

Thanks for the input :)

I'm reluctant to buy another clearomizer because I'm sick of replacing tanks and i do really like the ProTank.

Perhaps diluting with some PG? I have pure unflavored PG so maybe add 1ml to a 10ml and let it steep overnight?

to give you a perspective I vape 60%vg 40%pg juice in a protank and have zero problems with wicking. I do not need to thin the juice or remove a flavor wick.

BUT adding enough PG to your juice to hit 60/40 is REALLY going to affect the flavor as it is diluting it by nearly half. I would honestly try a couple of drops of distilled water.

a couple of drops of distiiled water (add until you get the consistancy you want) won't hurt the flavor and improve wicking issues with 100% vg........
i get not wanting to spend money on new stuff all the time, but an aspire bdc is about $8 and if it is better (which it is) you have solved your problems- better wicking and much better flavor.
