I had purchased eliquids from 57 different vendors before trying VirginVapor---Kona Coffee Milkshake and Chocolate Cake.

Now, I've had many juices that tasted odd to me from numerous vendors, where my reaction was "Wow, what lousy juice." Both flavors I received this week from VirginVapor taste odd to me, but my reaction is, "Wow, what unusual juice." I sense that these are well-made liquids from a sophisticated and artful juicemaker, but their flavor profile is either unique (to use a positive word) or "out there" (a slightly more negative phrase).

I hope that one of two things will occur: 1. that steeping alters the flavors and brings them closer to my expectation, or 2. that my palate adjusts on its own and grows to like them.

With some vendors whose juices are less than stellar to me, I just write them off and never order again. With VirginVapor, I really want to like the juices, so I hope that either or both of the changes above come to pass. Time will tell.

Funny that I feel the same way as the two of you! Billherbst, I've had pretty similar reactions to ejuice since I started, but it's only been about 2 weeks so I haven't tried as many as you. I have some Ms. T on the way.

After all the raving I read about the kona coffee I think it amped my expectations a lot. I think it's a very good juice though. I'm just not fond of coffee too much. I think I should of got the caramel one! But I've tried caramel elsewhere and it's never done right. I ordered some of ms. t's sweetner. hoping I can take the edge off the coffee taste with it, as well as steeping will. I'll vape it either way, so it's not like some I just wont touch, but I'm just not a coffee person!

I too also just want to like these juices a lot. I think I will. I love that her juices are organic. I love the bottles. I love how they actually vape, so smooth.

I filled a small bottle up with half of the kona and a lot of mimosa and andy's miny flavors last night. It wasn't too good at first but after letting it sit over night in the carto, it's pretty delish this morning! This is what usually ends up happening with me - I almost always end up mixing a juice before I find it truly amazing. I think I should just stop expecting to find a juice that I find amazing, and should start thinking more along the lines of what can I mix this with to make it amazing ? Lol.

Im also learning my lesson on following hype. When I did my order from ms. t, I made sure to stay away from the Snickerdoodle for now! I have no idea what the cookie even taste like. But I've samples the "most raved" flavors from each vendor I tried and USUALLY aren't nearly as happy with them.

Some of Virgin Vapors juice really do need a little time to steep. I thought the hot buttered rum and caramel kettle corn were pretty gross when they first arrived. After sitting on the shelf for over a week, they were yummy. Completely different flavor profile after steeping.
Now the Kona Coffee Milkshake...I can't ever get the bubblewrap off fast enough. Sorry you aren't liking it. :(

Annette makes some great juices but here's some information...please let them steep for at least 2 weeks. Her chocolate cake and kona coffee milkshake get better with age. The chocolate cake took a month of steeping before it really shined through...not an all day vape for me but it's good when I have a sweet tooth craving. So let them all steep before trying out if you can.

I havent touched the kona coffee for a few days, letting it steep :) I SHOULD have a Riva VV battery in the mail tomorrow, looking forward to trying the kona coffee on a slightly higher voltage. I read that can be good for coffee flavors?

Defiantly not dismissing VV at all. I like her juices. I think coffee/cakey stuff isnt for me, I want to try her citrus stuff next!

Glad I stumbled upon this thread, as I should be receiving my first sampler order in the mail this week. Looking forward to trying out these juices, but will remember that if they aren't fantastic right out of the box I won't dismiss them completely. =) Thanks!

Taste buds are so different for all of us- my VV juices rocked w/ the first tank, so it seems they will only get better!

Just placed an order yesterday with VV. After reading all the rage on here, ordered the Kona Coffee Milkshake (I LOVE Coffee) and the Vanilla Raspberry (or is it blackberry) swirl. Both have gotten good reviews. Since I went with the 3 pack sampler, decided to try the chocolate Chip cookie dough as my 3rd but have not read anything on it. Cant wait until it arrives.

@mpage, I got rootbeer float, black cherry marshmallow, orange soda pop, pina colada, strawberry lime cooler, wild blue punch, banana coconut colada, vanilla chai latte, wild watermelon.. all 24 mg, I think I got them all in 50/50. first day, I didnt like any of them, they all tasted awful to me, not good at all. no sweetness, no flavor, and a really strange aftertaste . I let them all steep for a week, and only the rootbeer float tastes pretty good. I'm going to keep that one. I heard so many good things, so I was pretty bummed it wasn't for me.

I hope that they get better for you and may after more steeping? If not, I'm sure you can sell/trade them on that forum thread. I love the black cherry marshmallow but would not personally want the others- interesting how we are all so different, isn't it? There are many liquid names on this forum that I would never consider, yet others love them.
