Vision 2.0 (V3) Clearomizer Leaking...

I cannot find any other thread or post like this one...

VIsion 2.0 (V3) Clearomizer is leaking around base where plastic and skirt meet.

I have had no problems with it until now... I have always been able to lay it down even
when filled, and I generally stand it up if I am going to leave it over night.
It has only leaked a drop or two down the metal tube 2 times.
It is only 2 months old.

Leak is slight. I can use it still but after it sits for a few minutes, I can run a finger around
the area indicated and there will be a fine line of fluid left on my finger.

Here is where it is leaking:



I use only 70/30 to 80/20 (PG/VG), I do not use any cinnamon based liquids, it has never
been dropped on a hard surface or banged in any way.
It has fallen over on a table - but landed flat and on a table cloth covered table.

Looking up into the bottom, there are no visible cracks or breaks in the plastic tubing and
if it were the seal around the base threading, it would leak at the skirt/base seam, not the
plastic/skirt seam.

I have twisted on the skirting but it is not loose and does not seem to want to come off so...

Has anyone else had this issue?

Never mind... Found a tiny hairline fracture in the tubing right where the plastic meets the skirt.

No fixing that I'm afraid.

Had the same leak suddenly with 3 of mine. Can't figure it out as they haven't been dropped. Hopefully it's just the tube so I don't have to junk the whole sha-bang! It's driving me bonkers

I've used clear nail polish on small cracks on CE2's...you might try that before chucking it.
