hey all, i am having a bit of an issue with one of my visions wicking too much... i have tried fooling with the cup seal (both tighter and looser on the wick) to no avail, i have to clean out the tip about every hour or it is gurgling and no vapor. i tried searching and couldn't find any answers to this you guys have any ideas on how to return it to its non-gurgly glory?

Oh i will mention that this has been in the upright position since i cleaned it out the last time, only tilting to vape it...
here is what it looks like with the tip removed to clean it once it starts to gurgle...

Is that just an illustration to not have to balance the gloopy tip seal (that normally stays in the tip) on the desk? Oddly enough I just hopped on to see if anyone had any word on cleaning the mouthpiece on these (the 'juice trap' at the mouth/whistle end), but unfortunately mine is working fine [although not being too excited about wicking as I give it a lazy-man's cleaning with 50-50 vodka/e-gloop ... not very tasty, either, next time I think I'll dump and rinse].

Possibly you have a gloop (juice) that both really loves to wick and condenses extra-rapidly? That's some dark stuff in there... With the one I'm using, I find taking a sharp puff, or sharper puffs in general, stops the gurgle because it clears the tube in one go (and hopefully gets more to leave the unit as 'vapor' rather than condensing back inside the mouthpiece/tube).

I try to keep the juice off the coil while using and give it a tilt back every few puffs - happens automatically when you've got it in your hand while typing and reach for the arrow keys every once in a while. Also relatively long "film noir" burns/draws, I guess, to make sure I'm drying it out around the coil/tube and not leaving a bunch in the wick that's just going to ooze in and make gurgles in the tube.
