I just wanted to say that I got one of the regular vision extremes the 2.5 ml one and it's great. I have tried several different flavors of e liquid when I was using the 510 cartomizers regular and low resistance, and that these flavors were just bad because supposedly using a cartimizer was supposed to be the ultimate vaping experience. I have learned that by cleaning and dry burning the wick in the vision that these flavors are really pretty darn good after all. I did not think that this vision would make that big of a difference but it really does. I have used like four different flavors in it, all after cleaning it properly...ps... don't put menthol because you can not get that flavor out even after cleaning it, but have had great results with fairly mellower flavors. I think that the vision or other types of ce2 are going to be the ultimate in the end. I know that you have to do alittle bit of slight adjusting when you first get the ce2's but with patience and about two minutes of adjustment the vision and other ce2 carts are really the cat's meow. If you have not had good results with 510 cartimizers and great flavor and throat hit, I think you should retry with one of the ce2's after they are properly adjusted. This is just my opinion but I was about to give up untill I got my vision and learned the little hints from numerous videos on youtube.

I just got my first mini Vision Extremes today and quickly filled one up and with the adapter, connected it to my box mod and away I vaped. I really like it. It's nice be able to see how much juice you have in it at all times. I don't understand what type of adjusting should be done and what is "dry burning" all about. Where do you find videos re: these Extremes?

I don't understand what type of adjusting should be done and what is "dry burning" all about.

I'm using Fluxomizers, a CE2 type carto, and I do the following before filling them:

1) remove the clear silicone rubber washer
2) remove the black rubber cup* covering the ceramic cup which contains the coil
3) with a sharp-pointed, angled-tip probe, pull up the wicks slightly at the notches in the ceramic cup

*I don't replace this cup; this allows refilling by dripping down the inside of the carto tube. The disadvantage is, your PV must remain upright, otherwise liquid will spill past the ceramic cup . You can replace the rubber cup to prevent spilling and flooding the coil and mouthpiece, but it's best to first enlarge the notches where the wicks pass through.

Dry burning is done to restore taste and vapor production after the carto has been used for some time. The object is to remove residue buildup from the coil. The mouthpiece, washer and rubber cup are removed and the carto is rinsed out with hot water and drained. The carto is put on a battery and the coil is activated at low voltage until it glows red for a few seconds. The coil is allowed to cool for a moment, then heated again. This is repeated until no more vapor is produced and the coil glows red along its full length. Some people rinse the carto again after it has completely cooled.

CE2 coils are generally pretty durable and withstand dry burning well.
