More specifically, what charger?

On the back of the charger dongle should be a small plate that reads "Output 4.2v 420 mA". Is that what you have?

The wall adapter must be rated "Output DC 5V, 500 mA" minimum. Anything less than a rating of 500 mA won't work, at least it won't work correctly.

Input: DC 5v 500mA
Output: DC 4.2v 420mA
Model: eGo usb charger (also has wall charging option)

Ok - that's a correct charger dongle.

But what about the Wall DC adapter you are plugging it into? It should have a rating plate on there as well. 500 mA or higher is ok, less than 500 mA (like one that might come with a cell phone) is a problem.

There have been several reports of late of problematic wall USB power adapters here. Just a heads up. Do you have another one you can try the charger dongle with?

the ac/dc adapter im plugging into is input: ac.220v-50/60Hz 150mA and output: DC5V = 500mA

Model: 805-1

Have you tried charging it through your computer? I've read a couple of posts by people having problems with wall adaptors.

Yeah I actually just charged it up on my computer and it worked great. It seems sort of lame to pay for that kit that supposedly comes with a working wall charger though. Should I contact Myvaporstore and ask them to provide a wall charger that actually works for the vision spinners?

Also, thanks for all of your help so far!

The AC adapter is wrong. If it's rated for 220 VAC input, on the other end of things it's only delivering about 280 mAh DC - not the 500 mAh it would deliver if running on 220 volts. I can't even tell where MyVaporStore is located based on their web site. No matter - whatever the deal is you got an incorrect AC/DC wall adapter. It will either need to be exchanged or replaced with something else.

def need to contact the vender....
I have a 1300 mAh vv spinner not from that vender but I purchased the usb charger from fasttech and use my iphone's wall adapter and it charges mine without issue...

I just sent out an e-mail to the vendor. How interesting though, the Iphone AC adapter gives you no charging issues with the vision spinner. I wish I had an Iphone haha.

I hope you get taken care of, some of us recommend that very kit. I think you'll like your Spinner, I have one also.

Thanks! I'm sure it will work out. The kit was recommended to me through these forums and aside from the ac adapter it has been really nice and the vision spinners are great. My first long lasting battery with adjustable voltage!

at work I use my bosses wall adaptor as well and it was just some cheap novelty adapter that we sold
so i'd have to say you got a doa wall adaptor....

That could be the case as well. It was mentioned earlier than one of the input values on the ac adapter didn't make sense. It could either be that or that the adapter was doa. I'll leave that up to myvaporstore to decide and hopefully they can send me a replacement or a different adapter.

This might help too...I read this on one of the immense threads somwhere here on this forum when I was reasearching for my spinner. Set the volatage to 4.2 when charging...it seems to charge quicker and better that way. I've had mine almost 2 months and have been doing this and after 12 hours or so of heavy vaping it takes about 3 hours..sometimes less to reach a charge. YMMV...just my :2c: :)
