The Nunchaku seems like it might be a better alternative to the Aspire Sub- Ohm battery that pbusardo just reviewed.

I don't think it's capable of firing a sub-ohm atomizer. It also only pushes 18 watts, which would probably be a little underpowered for the Atlantis, if that's what you had in mind.

However, this is the first twist I've seen that's variable wattage - pretty cool! And surprisingly powerful, up to 18 watts.

I just purchased the stainless steel version which should arrive in a couple of days. I've had my eye on the new innokin iTaste VV4 but haven't pulled the trigger yet because of the price (also because the standard 750mAh version is 50mAh less than last year's version, and the other 1000mAh option seems to be almost an inch longer). Although the LED screen on the iTaste is an awesome feature (which obviously adds cost), I chose the Nunchaku because of price and battery capacity. Also, the 2000mAh battery has a floating pin and the variable wattage (rather than voltage) feature as well - both of which helped me decide which one to buy. Will add my review after a week or so. 'Tis the season!

I got this battery just over a month now and I think it's a good battery but has issues. Mine worked awesome for the first two weeks then I started burning out my coils. I would keep mine set at 9w because that seemed like the best for me. Any higher would give me a burnt taste and less would drop in flavor. By the fourth week would constantly have a burnt taste and was putting in new coils every day. My father has the same battery and got it a week after me and has had no problems at all. After reading reviews I found some people having the same problem as me and others having the problem right out the box. One reviewer said that after using it and getting the same burnt taste on three different tanks they tested the battery and it was much higher than it should be. Now mine is okay at 6w producing burnt taste still but not as much. If I purposely flood my tank and take very slow long hits I could get good vape and flavour but I wish it would work like it did when I got it. Is there any way to fix it? vaporizor.jpg

I've had mine for approx 3 weeks and concur that this device is way overpowered. I initially tested it using my Kanger tanks and I too got burnt hits since day one if I had it set higher than the lowest setting. It does however perform better when used with my both of my Kayfuns or my Orchid (since those are more power-hungry). I haven't seen any wattage/voltage accuracy tests done but I will be testing it myself and will post my results (probably by the end of this week).

On the positive side, I do like the appearance, build quality, charge capacity, and USB-charging. The floating pin connector is a nice bonus as well. All of these features are the reasons why I purchase this mod but now it just gathers dust.

I initially thought about returning it but decided against it (but now I'm having second thoughts). I could/would still use it as a back-up for my RBAs/RTAs when I'm not using my daily driver (which is currently a Cloupor Mini) but those would be a rare occasions so it will indeed be gathering dust.
